Hi,
Discussing Level1NPC mod for BG saga at:
http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?s=bb7e9b5f62cdd93b8fcc8105c4853089&showtopic=12677 (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?s=bb7e9b5f62cdd93b8fcc8105c4853089&showtopic=12677)
So...
When installing the mod, appears an english string (on executing the .EXE and selection LANGUAGE): "The LEVEL1NPCS/LEVEL1NPCS.TP2 mod has 41 distinct......" alhtough I have installed the spanish version for the game. Also I've modified the mod to accept the spanish translation, which the lines in the DOS prompt translated are well, but this string not.
Could it be that this string is not translated for WeiDU 208?
Thank you and Regards.

It's translatable. It just isn't translated in L1NPC.
-
This isn't a L1NPCs string, it's the one you get in WeiDU by default unless you put an ASK_EVERY_COMPONENT flag in the tp2.

Ok, well I finally translated the WeiDU strings from French to Spanglish, since I saw them listed in the French .tra file (strrefs from @-1000). I need strrefs for the following though:
Using Language [ ]
Would you like to display the readme? [Y]es [N]o
And possibly some others I missed. Is there a list of the WeiDU strrefs in English somewhere?
I am surprised someone hasn't translated these to Spanish already, given there's at least 2 Spanish BG forums, but I didn't see them in any Spanish .tra file.

I can (and should) add the readme line, but I see no point in Using Language [] (by that account, I should translate 'Copying and patching' and the like).
The readme line will be -1034, BTW: "\nWould you like to display the readme? [Y]es [N]o\n".
The strings are at 180-ish of http://github.com/vbigiani/weidu/blob/master/src/tphelp.ml (http://github.com/vbigiani/weidu/blob/master/src/tphelp.ml).

It's trivial I suppose, but I thought I saw one for "Reinstalling using language" or the like (@-1012) so if that's getting translated, it seemed logical to translate the initial install Using Language.

OK, done.

Gracias.

I suppose getting a strref for "Press ENTER to exit." would be asking too much? I don't care too much about the "Copying and patching" stuff, but this is one of the remaining strings (possibly the only one post-language selection) that actually requires input.

I think that setup.tra is unloaded by the point that string is printed, actually.
