Title: All sounds echoing in town (EZ22)

Title says it all. There's a cave-like echo when walking around outside in towns. Once I go into a building it's gone, and it's not present in the wilderness. Just in towns. Ideas?

edit: not all towns. only Nashkel and Beregost
