Are you in the 98% or 2% of the population?

The 2%.
As I was when I first took this test in a London pub a decade ago. (I remembered this test when I spotted the answer.)
But I seem to have gotten more normal. Back then both parts were "non-standard" and this time only the first one was.

2% for me, too. I got yellow screwdriver, mostly because I had one sitting in front of me at the time...

What the "red hammer" test proves is that "red" is the paradigmatic color for people (and not just for English speaking people) and "hammer" is the paradigmatic kind of tool. So, those who see the "red hammer" test as separating out two types of “minds” are being conned.

You realize you've ruined the test, infidel. >:(

I didn't pick either...

I had a red screwdriver.

Prior to Camdawg's excellent link, I had extreme doubts about this test because nobody is answering w/the majority. I'm willing to believe the ie community have different brains than 98% of the world but statistically it would be unlikely. I answered both differently too.

I thought of a green Bush. To those who say that a Bush isn't a tool......try it again without the indefinite article.
EDIT: It suddenly occurs to me that some may interpret this statement as sexual in content. It isn't intended that way. I have slightly altered the wording so the meaning will be more clear.

How odd.

I chose Purple Hammer, so I guess I can't make up my mind. ;D

Silver spoon

I got a blue hammer. Specifically a Roofer's hammer, the kind with the square, "waffle-iron" head that hurts that much more to mash your thumb with.
And yes I am still here.

purple wrench

Green hammer
Strange test...
