Title: The age old question
Post by: Mongoose87 on June 05, 2006, 03:33:54 PM
I was recently playing a bit of NetHack, and attempted to make a character based off the Knights who say Ni.  When I saw that Knights could only be lawful, a question suddenly came to mind.  What alignment would a Knight who says Ni be?
Certainly not good, what with the shrubbery demanding and the like, but are they chaotic in that they randomly choose words to repeat, or are they lawful, in their complete obidience to the order to repeat these words?

Lawfun an Chaotic are diametrically opposed, like good and evil.
Knights who say Ni would probably be Lawful Evil since they were holding up progress and demanding things for themselves and saying "Ni" at people which is clearly an evil act.  Hell, it's in the Book of Vile Darkness right after "Telling Lies"!

well, when they DO get the shrubbery they forsake their nidom almost immediatly, claming that they are now the knights that say "ekke ekke jahahah...something" so for sanity's sake, lets just say they're chaotic.
