Title: Translations
Post by: icelus on May 13, 2006, 06:17:44 PM
At the moment, Immortality is working on a Spanish translation, and yarpen on the Polish one.

If anyone else is interested in translating the mod, please post your intention to do so in this thread so that double work is not performed by someone else wanting to translate to that same language.

Now, how's that for bad English?  :)

Translation Status
Chinese
French:  DONE! (IronFistedGiant)
German DONE!
Italian DONE!
Polish:  DONE! (yarpen)
Russian DONE!
Spanish:  DONE! (Immortality/ClanDLAN)

Hopefully I can get a few more translations in this week and I can update this weekend.  If not, I'll release for the Spanish translation, and all the others will just have to wait.  :)

Attn: Translators

I've added one new line for v4:

@16   = ~That's the body of some blasted noble!  That one'll give me nothing but problems.  Surely you can find the body of some peasant?~

@16   = ~¡Ese es el cuerpo de un condenado noble! No me dará más que problemas. ¿Seguro que podrías encontrar el cuerpo de algún campesino?~

If IronFistedGiant didn't already answered, for French, I propose

@16 = ~Mais c'est le corps d'un fichu noble ! Il ne m'apportera que des problèmes. Vous pouvez sûrement trouver le corps d'un paysan, n'est-ce pas ?~

Is it related to the Arkion or Nemphre plot in Baldur's Gate? Then the form "Vous pouvez" is right. Otherwise, depending on character, the form "Tu peux" (less formal) would be better.

Hi! I'm now making again a translation (now I must translate just Sarevok Diary and Vial).. I've just have all translation but my disc crash....

Where I must paste that line?

If I paste it here, you can't convert that (there are many problems with BG1 and polish letters - we're must use a special macro).

All right - give me 1-2 days and translation will be completed :)

I think you'll find most of the text to translate in the \tra\English\ files.  There may be more to translate in some of the .d files, possibly some journal entries.

Hi folks,

I did a new German translation, building upon an existing but formerly incomplete and inaccurate translation. You can get it here (http://www.kalebasse.de/div/BG1UB_new_translation.7z).

So why do not enjoy this great mod in German language for a change? ;D

New lines required for translation in version 7. Use the # as a guide to the original BG1 text. Note that each line IS different, even though they might, for the most part, look the same.

Scar's passing was mercifully brief, at least, though more for reasons of stealth than of compassion. Aye, I have seen so many of these foul mirrorkin of late but I pray I never become accustomed to their cursed, shifting faces. @7 = ~The iron shortage wanes, but merchants are still without wares. It is the Iron Throne's instability which has prolonged the strife in the city, and that is why other merchants blame them. They were major importers, and without their help it will take much longer to reassure people that all is well. Since Sarevok has assumed control they have ceased most business transactions and frozen most of their assets. The fact that he is crippling a large merchant house seems inconsequential to him. He is disinterested, and seems likely to sacrifice it to fund the re-arming of Baldur's Gate, and thus his bid to become a Grand Duke. I cannot imagine sane businessmen following such directives.~

She would try to reclaim Sarevok the man, once Sarevok the would-be god is destroyed. In exchange for this she has confirmed my suspicions of Slythe and Kristen, the underlings of Sarevok that killed Duke Entar Silvershield. She has also directed me towards someone named Cythandria in the Iron throne base (who seems to be more her rival than mine). Tamoko has also given me much to think about. Sarevok and I are of the same blood; a god's blood. Sarevok thinks he was created to assume the mantle of the dead lord of murder Bhaal, ascending to godhood by causing slaughter on a god-like scale. Tamoko doubts such a thing can happen, claiming that a dead god would not create such children to effect his replacement, rather his resurrection. She seems to think that Sarevok's death will serve Bhaal more than a grand sacrifice in his name. Sarevok has made his beliefs known, but what am I to take from this? What will eventually become of me?~

No one seems to be able to help him, even though he is attended around the clock by a healer named Rashad.  With Entar dead and Eltan ill, the other Dukes have called an emergency election. Sarevok is the frontrunner, and his stand against Amn is very popular. Confronting him directly will have to wait until I have concrete proof to present. No one would take my word over his.~

No point translating a mod to a language the game itself doesn't support, I guess.
If you want to translate it to dutch, tell me..
Title: Re: Translations
Post by: Ascension64 on September 26, 2009, 11:08:46 PM
I agree that it wouldn't really make sense to have a portion of Dutch dialogue in a mod and the rest of the game in another language. But if there was a Dutch BG1 translation floating around, it may be worthwhile considering a Dutch translation of BG1UB.

Is there anyone who may be able to help translate this into Russian, or throw a line to Darktech at aerie.ru? Lines straight from BG1, except for the extra 'Afoul of the law' journal entry title.

For some reason Duke Eltan is no longer the commander of the Flaming Fist.  A man named Angelo now claims that position.~

Hey Leomar

Thank You for updating BG1 UB, but there is one mistake:

http://mods.pocketplane.net/readmes/BG1UB-Readme.html

Version 12

    * Added Russian translation (Barek)
    * Revised German translation (Leomar)

Should be: Added Polish translation (Bartek)

and

http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/

"Leomar has updated BG1 Unfinished Business to include a new Russian translation..."

Should be: "...a new Polish translation..."

Thank You for verification and understanding. :)

Greetings.

You'll need to replace that "è" in setup.tra with "Š" to get it to display in the Western European DOS codepages correctly. However, it will show up as "Š" in the WeiDU.log, so perhaps plain "e" would be better if that's readable in Italian. I know the Germans prefer to transliterate umlauted characters etc. so they can read the WeiDU.logs better (according to Leomar anyway). Those characters are fine for in-game text.

Edit: Wait... that's probably in-game text anyway, so nevermind :P.

Thank you very much indeed!

Ancalagon, I only noticed now that in the Spanish version one line is missing! Would you be so kind and translate this, as well?

@16   = ~That's the body of some blasted noble!  That one'll give me nothing but problems.  Surely you can find the body of some peasant?~
EDIT: Arkion, the man from BG who wants a corpse from the sewers is saying this.

Oh, this is great! I was away a couple of days, et voilà, all translations complete! Thank you very much, Bartek and prowler!

One question: I don't think I can just copy and paste the text into an editor - if I open the tra file, the Russian looks like this:
@16   = ~Ýòî òåëî êàêîãî-òî ÷åðòîâà äâîðÿíèíà! Òàêèå äåëà íå ïðèíåñóò ìíå íè÷åãî, êðîìå ïðîáëåì. Íåóæåëè âû íå ìîæåòå íàéòè òåëî êàêîãî-íèáóäü ïðîñòîëþäèíà??~

The Polish one looks wrong, too. :(

Maybe it is best if you send me the changed files, would that be possible? To jastey at web.de.

Title: Re: Translations

I have a suggestion concerning the German translation. I understand the Audio Restorations component uses the content of the "sound_tmp.tra" file to correct some strings that include references to sound files. In the German version of sound_tmp.tra however, the written text doesn't match the spoken words from the corresponding sounds. The lines are a close translation of the English text from the English sound_tmp.tra. Instead, the German text should be a written transcript of the actual spoken phrases heard in the respective German sound files.

jastey, I would edit the stuff (I know you could too ;)) and maybe you can include this in the upcoming v13 release that you are packing? On that occasion, I could go through the other German .tra files as well (using your current v13_110614 release of course) and proofread once more and correct anything else I come across. I have found some very minor typos in the older components, so I can make an overall updated German translation.

BTW, there is one problem I just realized. The sound files GORIN14.wav to GORIN20.wav seem to never have gotten properly translated. From my perfectly normal, original German BG1 installation, I just pulled these files out of the NPCSound.bif to hear what is actually said, since GORIN14 is used in the Audio Restorations component. But when I play the file it's the English sound. Is this "normal" or does anyone with a German BG1 actually have a German speaker in those sounds?
Title: Re: Translations

Hurricane: Any proof-reading and corrections are more than welcome! Thank you in advance!

As to the GORIN sounds - I'll have to look at those. Maybe the install is mixed or a German one not coded into the main mod. There exist separate packages for the non-English versions, if you look here: http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=161&Itemid=114
I would assume the German sounds are in there.
Title: Re: Translations
Post by: Hurricane on July 24, 2011, 10:20:30 AM
Thank you jastey for directing me to the separate sound packages for the non-English versions, I actually hadn't been aware of those. :o ;D Unfortunately, the audio packs don't help with the problem here, because they don't deliver any of the GORIN## sounds.

More importantly, while taking a close look at those packages (and coming across a whole different, separate issue (http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,27750.0.html)), I also went over the BG1 sounds again and it seems like my concern was justified: The sound files named GORIN14 to GORIN20 that are present in German vanilla BG1, are in fact not German. I doubt a German version of those sounds was ever recorded. In other words, I think I've stumbled upon a shortcoming by Bioware/Black Isle/Interplay that we can do little about. If any German player, by contrast, happens to have a proper, translated sound, let me know. ;D But also if you can confirm the problem.

Now, as for the correction of sound_tmp.tra, this means we don't have a sound reference for the [GORIN14] text. So let's go through it like this:

First, the original English text and matching sound goes
"This way, good sir, over here!" (In BG1, it is referenced by Chanthalas Ulbright in Baldur's Gate and Zeke from the Nashkell fair.)

1) In German vanilla BG1 and vanilla BG2, the string says
"Hier entlang, guter Herr, hier drüben!"

2) A German BG1 textpatch proposed
"Dieser Weg, guter Herr, hier rüber!"

3) Currently, UB says
"Dieser Weg, werter Herr, hier herüber!"

4) I'd suggest
"Hier entlang, werter Herr, hier herüber!"

... because it sounds the most natural to me while retaining the original meaning of giving a direction, not a location. Any objections?

Not a problem, I don't think we need to put a rush on this one. My corrections are in process, and I'm taking my time with them since I want to be as thorough as possible.

Also, I may have come across another issue that could lead to additional translations. For anyone able to help me with my concern, please see the thread back in the workroom (http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,20192.msg328055.html#msg328055) about titled journal entries.

I would need some more lines in the appropriate languages, except German:
For English, please proof-read!

setup.tra:
@115   = ~The functionality of this component is either already included or superceded by one of your already installed mods.~

The following lines will be shown in the game:
~Quietness in a bustling city~ (This is a journal header for Quoningar. @20176 and @20177 in etra_tmp.tra)

~Shilo Chen and the ogre-magi~ (This is a journal header for Quoningar. @20178 and @20179 in etra_tmp.tra)

(ubedie.tra)
@18 = ~Cheating on the entrance examination

I changed my mind and will not help Edie to cheat on her Baldur's Gate's Merchants' League's entrance examination.~

@19 = ~Cheating on the entrance examination

I could help young Edie with a magical potion. It might count as cheating, but considering she joined the Merchants' League some might say that's part of the job...~

(ubvial.tra)
@32 = ~The tainted ore

Berrun Ghastkill wants me to bring the vial of mysterious mineral poison I recovered from the Nashkel mines to Thalantyr in High Hedge. The powerful mage might be able to analyse it. And in case I'll find another piece of tainted ore I should go to Taerom Fuiruim.~

@33 = ~The tainted ore

Berrun Ghastkill wants me to bring the tainted ore I recovered from the Nashkel mines to Taerom Fuiruim in Beregost. Maybe the well-trained smithy can help us with that.~

~Du calme dans une ville bourdonnant d'activité~ (This is a journal header for Quoningar. @20176 and @20177 in etra_tmp.tra)

~Shilo Chen et les ogres-mages~ (This is a journal header for Shilo Chen. @20178 and @20179 in etra_tmp.tra)

(ubedie.tra)
@18 = ~Triche à l'examen d'entrée

J'ai changé d'avis et n'aiderai pas Edie à tricher pour son examen d'entrée dans la Ligue des Marchands de la Porte de Baldur.~

@18 = ~Triche à l'examen d'entrée

J'ai pu aider la jeune Edie grâce à une potion magique. Cela pourrait passer pour de la triche, mais sachant qu'elle a rejoint la Ligue des Marchands, on pourrait dire que cela partie du boulot...~

(ubvial.tra)
@32 = ~Le minerai contaminé

Berrun Tuemort veut que j'apporte la fiole du mystérieux poison minéral que j'ai récupérée dans les mines de Nashkel à Thalantyr à Haute haie. Le puissant mage pourrait être en mesure de l'analyser. Et si jamais je trouvais un autre morceau de minerai contaminé, il faudrait que j'aille voir Taërom Fuiruim.~

@33 = ~Le minerai contaminé

Berrun Tuemort veut que j'apporte le minerai contaminé que j'ai récupéré dans les mines de Nashkel à Taërom Fuiruim à Bérégost. Ce forgeron très compétent pourra peut-être nous aider à ce sujet.~

I also have an update to suggest in setup.tra, since BG1 NPC is now translated into French and Phase I and II are not split anymore during the installation of BG1 NPC. You may want to update other languages as well, to reflect the changes in BG1 NPC names and organisation (phase 1 and 2 are not mentionned).

Quote
@90000 = ~Le composant "BG1 NPC Project : bavardages, quetes et interjections" de BG1 NPC Project est en conflit avec ce composant.~
@90001 = ~Le composant "BG1 NPC Project : modifications necessaires" de BG1 NPC Project est en conflit avec ce composant.~
@90002 = ~Le composant "BG1 NPC Project : bavardages, quetes et interjections" de BG1 NPC Project est en conflit avec ce composant.~

I also have a minor fix in French ubvial.tra. It should be "Bérégost" instead of "Berégost" (two times with "é") in @10 and @14 (both male and female versions each time).

Finally, I'd like to ask another favor from you, in order to include WeiDU prompts at the end of setup.tra:

I have two suggestions about the English texts.

In @32 of ubvial.tra, maybe you shouldn't use "And in case I'll find another piece" but "And in case I find ...". Typically you don't use the future for that in English. Example: "When I grow up, I'll be a doctor". To me, it's the same case in @32.

In @115 of setup.tra, it seems it should be "superseded" instead. My dictionnary doesn't mention one of the usual subtle change between british english and american english for that verb, so I assume there is only one way to write it. ;)

Just a short comment regarding the journal headers: For the German version, there are no periods at the end of the headers, but for the English version (and I believe every other language version, but I can't verify), the journal headers are generally written with a period at the end of it. This is the way it is done in BG2, and BGT also does it accordingly as it assigns headers to BG1 journal entries. The new headers introduced by BG1UB should therefore adopt this behavior according to the respective language.

"Superceded" is a rare case but possible. "Superseded" is more common. ;)

Have a look here: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,27750.msg327710.html#msg327710
It's lost sound files that are not imported to Tutu.

The question is: Are the following sounds included in the Russian BGII (and working):

halff01
mustr08
swenc01
swenc02
tanar01
tanar02
tanar03
tanar04
tanar05
tanar06

gnomf03
wench01
wench02
wench04

If yes, only the following sound files from BG1 would be needed as ogg files. If no, the missing sounds from above, too:

amb_e43b
delsv01
delsv02
delsv03
delsv04
entar01
entar02
entar03
entar04
gandl01
gandl02
gandl03
gandl04
garrk13
wiltn01

If you could (organize to have) extract and send the according Russian sound files, I would include them in the install. Currently, there are only English, Spanish, French, and German.
The same is true for Polish and Italian!

Official Russian release of BG1 and BG2 contains only translated TEXT.
I mean that ALL sound and voice in official russian versions are English.
I think it's need add english ogg files into russian folder.

Oh! I didn't know that! In that case, the inclusion of the sound files is easy. :)

I've finally finished the update of the German translation. All tra files have been modified. The update is based on the files of the current v13_120121 beta release.

Most notably, all texts in sound_tmp.tra have been corrected to match the actual sounds. For GORIN14, I adjusted the line slightly and decided to go with "Hier entlang, werter Herr, hier rüber!".
ubvial.tra has also received a rather comprehensive update that delivers some great improvements in style and expression, and I believe those lines sound much better now.
To a lesser extent, I revised ubcre.tra, ubedie.tra and ubscar.tra. jastey, I hope you approve of the slight tweaks I made to your new lines as well. :)

The other tra files were updated incorporating mostly minor corrections and some mild adjustments of expressions. I went through all texts to look for remaining orthographic mistakes and corrected them. I also added and expanded a bunch of comments, especially in extra_tmp.tra, in an attempt to harmonize the texts with the predetermined BG1 strings, or explain deviations, respectively. Furthermore, I translated the English line @115 of setup.tra.

In terms of content changes, as promised, I adjusted the description of the Wyvern Head to specify a weight of 30.

I did a test install (BGT) using the updated translation and didn't encounter any problems.

The files I'm submitting should directly replace all existing tra files at bg1ub\tra\deutsch, no need to substitute the texts by hand. I've uploaded a rar package using my SHS account again. Please let me know in case this doesn't work.

Alright, I'll just send you a personal message over at SHS and add the file as an attachment. :)

Sure! Currently, SHS is down, at least for me? Give me a note when it's up again.

Huh, that's odd. I'm accessing SHS right now without any problems... Oh well, there's probably still some maintenance going on in the background (I noticed some graphics switched today, and my post-counter is still jumping around without me doing anything).

Bartek, as much as I appreciate translations (very much so!): What exactly is the status of your package: An edition of the current v13 tra files? The reason I ask is that I wasn't aware you are working on the tras. Promilus provided the missing translations and I have them locally, as I posted four posts above. (The upload of an intermediate version is the reason for the confusion, I guess, and I am very sorry I didn't find the time to provide a real update sooner.)

I have another Polish translation by marmandamus who sent it to my some days ago - do you know of each other? I am a bit confused.

To all: I f you are working on translations, edits or updates, please let me know in advance so I can let you know whether someone else is already working on it (or whether I already have the translations locally)!

Hello Jastey!
Here is (fixed and updated) Russian translation for BG1UB. It was adapted for v.13. And also I have put in archive note for TP2 file (credits). Can you update translation in future?

Also want to ask about v14... How soon? Any new lines? Need a help with translation?

Thank you in advance

By the way, in the original english, there is a typo at @1005: tho should be though.

Also in the Oublek lines, the word Emeralds is capitalized. But should it really be? I kept it so in the italian translation as well. If you'd rather go for non capitalized, then Smeraldi becomes smeraldi.

This is so great! But would you be so kind and send it to me as files (jastey at web.de)? Because I don't think my editor handles the format right.

And - would you also have a look here, no need for translations, just the right formatted text files: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,17901.msg334694.html#msg334694

I received the files, thank you! (And sorry I ignored your PM: I didn't spot I got one, still getting used to this new forum layout..) There where 3 instances of @212 but I corrected it for the current mod version.
I will let you know about the LotSC files when I integrated them, but so far it all looks good.

But I have a question: so far, bg1up doesn't seem to have a vanilla BG1 tra-file version? How does this work, is bg1ub not compatible with vanilla BG1 for the Polish version?  :o

Jastey don't worry about missing PM, figured you probably just missed it.

As for the BG1UB, to tell you the truth, I never checked if it installs with Polish vanilla BG1 (it's been ages since I played BG in Polish), but I could prep both versions for you later tonight, just in case, if you want.  But to be honest I never heard any complaints from Polish players tha t it's not working.

Me neither... So it either works, or people encounter invalid symbols but don't complain, or no one plays (vanilla) BG1 any more. Maybe I shouldn't bother. :)

Thank you for the offer, though.

But I have a question: so far, bg1up doesn't seem to have a vanilla BG1 tra-file version? How does this work, is bg1ub not compatible with vanilla BG1 for the Polish version?  :o
From memory, I think BG1 used a very special character set for the polish translation, which was based on specific BAM files for the fonts. On the contrary, BG2 charset for polish is simply based on the standard charset of Windows for Poland, which I think is called Windows-1250 or CP1250 in various charset converters.

I think BGT always included the tool kpzbg1.exe specifically for the purpose of adapting the charset of the text extracted from BG1 to BG2. The postinstall.htm polish file of BGT states:
Quote from: translation by Google
To properly displayed the Polish characters, please start kpzbg1.exe from \ bgt and follow the instructions when you open the file.
I have no clue what the program does though, since the messages don't clarify it:
Quote from: translation by Google
Converter Polish characters for BG1TuTu
---------------- v1 .0 -----------------

Warning:
If you first do not backup files dialog.tlk and dialogf.tlk
it does not begin the conversion.
Remember that you are using this program at their own risk.
Choose one of these options:
1 - Begin conversions
2 - End the program
3 - Backup your files and dialogf.tlk dialog.tlk now
4 - try restore files dialog.tlk and dialogf.tlk from backups
Your choice (1/2/3/4):
There is a discussion on how to use it with BGT here (http://www.shsforums.net/topic/30377-kpzbg1exe-and-polish-bg1/), and there are discussions on polish forums too (it seems it should be run in BG1 before BGT is installed, according to most answers I found).

Maybe there is another tool to convert from CP1250 toward BG1 polish encoding. That would probably be needed for texts to be displayed properly in BG1. In any case, I'm sure Zed Nocear should know how to handle polish characters for BG1.

Otherwise I was posting to tell that the French translation was currently being proofread and should be ready within a few days.

Hey jastey, I spotted a couple of things to correct. :)

English
One of the errors reported by hook71 (http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,28046.msg328930.html#msg328930) is not in yet:
extra_tmp.tra, @40132: second cheapest -> second-cheapest (hyphen added)

Russian
The correction of the wyvern head's weight was missed here:
setup.tra, @97: 50 -> 30

German
I managed to find two more typos in my own previous work. :D
setup.tra, @115: durch einem -> durch einen
extra_tmp.tra, @20037: der Eisenthrons -> der Eisenthron

Plus, I realized that @20055 requires a male and a female version to avoid the use of "Mensch", since the character spoken to might be non-human. I have concluded that MK's Textpatch already resolves this best, so we should use the following:
Quote
@20055 = ~Haltet mal inne, junger Mann. As to teh change of the V in the German tra: Another way would be to use <PRO_RACE> instead of Mensch, it works in this case, too.

Regarding the Tutu texts, I couldn't find any quest title either in Tutufix or in Oublek's dialog in an installed Tutu v4 in order to reuse the same text. Maybe quest titles are something specific to EasyTutu?
Anyway I just translated the provided quest title.

@jastey
I was thinking about using <PRO_RACE> as well when I worked on the string, but ultimately decided against it. "Young'n" in the original English text is used by an older person to specifically adress and distinguish the younger adventurer being talked to. Making it "young <RACE>" would take away from that emphasis. I also realized that MK simply did a better job of translating Wilton's farmerly drawl. So there's no need for me to reinvent the wheel here. :) You can just copy MK's string I posted above.

Thank you Hurricane, local edited.

Thanks for putting in those corrections in the newest update. :) But I need to bother you again. :P In the German extra_tmp.tra, I wanted string @20055 to be replaced completely by MK's text, as said above, because there are more changes in there than just Wilton's initial greeting (such as using "Leute" instead of "Menschen" at the end as well). Can you please copy the entire following text and replace the current string with it? Thanks.

Ach, Ihr gebt einem alten, verbrauchten Mann die Hoffnung, dass es da draußen noch anständige Leute gibt.~ ~Haltet mal inne, junge Frau. Ich hab nämlich gehört, was Ihr für den alten Brun getan habt. Hi!

BG1 UB works with BG1, BGT and Tutu but Polish translation works correct only with BG2 engine. Original Polish version of BG1 game uses different character code page.

Is there possibility to add compatibility of Polish translation with vanilla BG1-TotSC to BG1 UB v13.1 mod? If so, I can propose ready solution.

Of course! If you provide it, I will include it into the 13.2 beta.

This is the same solution as in BGQE 8.1. Well... almost the same. In BG1UB is used non trivial name of language folder - not just "polski" or "polish" but "tra/polish". Therefore I added new variable and changed slightly the TPA library.

The solution consists of three steps:

1/ add to TP2 in ALWAYSE section

// @@@ Support for polish translation @@@
    //set the proper values of string variables
  OUTER_SPRINT "Z!PL_TRA_Patch" "bg1ub/tra/polish"
  OUTER_SPRINT "Z!Polish_Choosen" "tra/polish"
    //main conversion code
  INCLUDE ~%Z!PL_TRA_Patch%/BG1&BG2UniversalPolishFont.tpa~
    //all TRAs declared in LANGUAGE must be reloaded

I've created a new component for BG1UB to restore the Nim Furlwing Encounter.

There's a few lines that need translation (German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Russian). If anyone would be willing to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Actually, most of the lines are in the DIALOG.TLK, and I've given the DIALOG.TLK string reference where applicable.

UBNIMFUR.TRA
Code: [Select]
//Nim Furlwing Dialog
/* #14897 */
@1 = ~Fine lot of help you were. My best purebred hunting hounds lay dead and bleeding. Honestly, you adventuring types always seem to fight better as bandits than as bodyguards.~

/* #14899 */
@2 = ~Hmph. You were in my way more than anything. Now just look at this mess... They were purebreeds, I'll have you know.~

/* #14900 */
@3 = ~Thank you for your timely assistance. They're a fine breed of hunting dog, aren't they? Purebreds. Here, take this scroll of animal summoning as a token of my appreciation.~

/* #14901 */
@4 = ~I don't recommend coming between an elven hunter and her hounds, friend.~

/* #14902 */
@5 = ~I spend too much of my time hunting to care about the world of politics.~

@6 = ~Tua amin! Help! These foul beasts are attacking my hounds!~

//Journal Entries
/* #15715 */
@7 = ~I feel more a fool than a hearty adventurer, today. It appears I arrived too late and did too little to rescue the fine hunting hounds of a certain Nim Furlwing in the Wood of Sharp Teeth. ~

/* #15718 */
@8 = ~I feel more a fool than a hearty adventurer, today. It appears I arrived too late and did too little to rescue the fine hunting hounds of a certain Nim Furlwing in the Wood of Sharp Teeth. ~

/* #15717 */
@9 = ~The Wood of Sharp Teeth, indeed! Today, I rescued the purebred hounds of Nim Furlwing from dire wolves and am, admittedly, still a little sore from the attempt.~

Also a few lines for SETUP.TRA:
Code: [Select]
@4000 = ~Nim Furlwing Encounter~
@4100 = ~Restored Elfsong Tavern Movie~
@4101 = ~This component is not compatible with BGEE. A BGEE-compatible version of this movie is included with the mod BG:EE Classic Movies.~

Hello all,

With v14, there are translations needed for Spanish, German, Polish, and Russian.

bg1ub.tra:
// Ice Island Level 2 Restoration
@1001 = ~Snow Golem~
@1002 = ~Snow Golem Breath~

setup.tra:
The /* new v14 */ section

Then the files: ubmalkal.tra, ubnimfur.tra, ubsvlast.tra, and ubunshey.tra

Note: German and Polish already have ubnimfur.tra translated.

Many thanks in advance!!!

Hello,
there is a issue when install the "Minor Dialogue Restorations" component with the italian translation, missing the strings @120 and @121 from the file bg1ub.tra (Unshey Dialog Restoration).

Here the translation:
Code: [Select]
@120 = ~Guida pratica alla salute del corpo dell'Alto chierico Unshey~
@121 = ~Un tipico manuale di salute del corpo che fornisce al lettore importanti informazioni per quanto riguarda la medicina preventiva, basi di primo soccorso e corretta tonificazione muscolare.

Please update the Russian translation. In the current version 16 there were untranslated strings. Here are the additions of the Russian translation made by d0lphin: https://yadi.sk/d/sF9kt_GMMUmv3w

+ On the site, version 13 is also indicated, it’s also worth updating there, I think.
