Title: RSS/XML feed users: Add PPG content!
Post by: jcompton on November 22, 2004, 03:12:16 PM
If you use Firefox, My Yahoo, or another RSS-enabled program, you can pull feeds from the PPG forum to your RSS browser.

For instance, to display recently-updated topics in a My Yahoo module, just go to Add Content, Add RSS By URL, and enter the following:

http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml;limit=6

(You can change the 6 to whatever value you choose.)

Just a quick note, Yahoo's ad hoc RSS support might be a little flaky in the early going, but the link works properly in Firefox.

I added it to Firefox via Bookmarks.  Manage bookmarks:  File -> New Live Bookmark

in firefox:

Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks.

then in the Bookmarks Manager:

File -> New Live Bookmark -> paste the PPG URL into the 'feed location' field.

[EDIT] Kismet beat me to it.
