Looking through the Shadowkeeper Item browser, I found this...
Book
Quataris' Confession
Misc6F
--This scroll contains a brief confession written by Quataris. You can use this confession to have Haer'Dalis cleared. The scroll reads like this:
"I, Quataris, do hearby swear that I have, with Malice and Forethought, framed one Haer'Dalis for the Theft of a certain Bust of Sune. I obtained the services of one Janos to steal the Bust for me. In doing so, he took the Appearance of Haer'Dalis and, without my knowledge or consent, most foully Murdered the Owner of the Bust, the gentleman Acton Balthis. I swear the Events within this Letter to be True and Clear."
The scroll is signed in the cramped quill-work of Quataris.--
Book
Writ of innocence
Misc5J
--This Writ decrees the innocence of Haer'Dalis in the murder of Acton Balthis. It is signed by Chief Inspector Brega. You may use it to obtain Haer-Dalis' freedom from the city jail.--
Misc
Bust of Sune
Misc6G
--A small but exquisite bust depicting the goddess, Sune. It was found in the possession of a shady art dealer called Quataris.--
I searched through Dan Simpson's guide and found nothing about a Quataris or a quest involving these notes. The remains of a quest, perhaps?
Apologies if this has been brought up before...

It's planned for an upcoming version, and will be included as soon as our writer starts writing ;)
-
I'd like to point out that I've written several words already, and some of them were very difficult to spell. I'm working hard, here.
::)
-
(Hard is in italics because it's one of those difficult-to-spell words for JPS :D)
-
still in production?
possible link-up with the Surayah mod?
-
still in production?
Yes.
possible link-up with the Surayah mod?
Not that I know of. Should there be?
-
not nec. just thought there could at least be an interjection about the bust of sune since surayah's a sunite. but that'd be up to the surayah folks i s'pose. or does it matter who makes it to the finish line first?
-
Ah, now I get it. I know that Grim wants me to say that this would be excellent material for the Crossmod Banter Pack (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showforum=55), so consider it said. When we're both finished, and if Bons is interested, of course.

Hi there,
I was curious if there is an unfinished quest related to this art merchant in Waukeen's Promenade. After reading the readme for UB, I didn't see anything about this...but perhaps I missed it?
This has always bothered me about the game for some reason, more than anything else, because there is just no use for this guy!
Thanks for any info. :)
-
If I'm remembering correctly, this guy is part of a cut Haer'Dalis quest. Apparently it's not going to be restored in UB, but it will be part of the Haer'Dalis Romance (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showforum=4) mod.

No, it has always been planned for inclusion in UB. The H'D quests were commissioned to JPS. They're just... delayed.
-
Ah, so they're going to be in both mods?
-
That's how it was planned, yes.
-
Thanks for info folks! :)
-
does the Art dealer in Waukeen's Prominade have any quests or anything relating to him in UB, not, if so is this something you would consider adding in a newer version of UB?
-
He is part of a cut Haer'Dalis quest. Originally it was decided not to restore this quest in UB and make it part of the Haer'Dalis Romance (http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showforum=4)) mod instead; however, given the uncertain status of that mod, maybe it's time to reconsider it for UB.
-
ok then, would hurt to give it another thought would it?
-
I personally have no plans to add significant new content in the near future, although, of course, that may change. If anyone else wants to write and code something, I'll look it over.
