I don't know how to tell the makers of this mod, but thank you, thank you, oh God thank you!  This is an entertaining way to get through with the game without having to suffer through the same-old annoying as H dungeon for the dozenth time.  It other words, thank you.   ;D

About how long does such a mod take to make?

DBG 1.0 was made in just a couple of days. Blue played through the initial dungeon and made a list of items and vague notions of GP and XP collected and wrote up the dialogue and made the CRE and so forth. She and I split the coding. Then, over time, people chimed in with items we'd forgotten or suggestions for retooling the GP/XP. But the basic work was just a few days.

its not exactly a huge mod to make anyway. BUT IT IS STILL THE MOST USEFUL MOD I HAVE EVER USED!!!! All I can really say is thanks to the creators. Anyways, like I was saying, it isn't a HUGE mod which is why it was made in a few days. But of course, no mod is perfect when it is first created anyway.

Don't take any of that as an insult, because it is not. I... err... I think I'll just stop rambling...

If you like DBG, you may also like GbG, which is along similar lines.
There are GbG versions for BG1, BG2, IWD1, BG1TuTu and the DLTC demo.
The GbG mods can be found at www.mcwrench.com

Perhaps, but that seems a bit misleading.  With DBG, you can skip through a very small portion of the game.  GbG varieties skip through the *entire* game.

Apples and oranges.

And don't let the misleading screenshots make you think otherwise. :)

But you have to give him that. When you really should not be playing and still crave some adventure in your lunchbreak, GBG is the right tool for you. He made it possible.  ;D

Does the mod can ruine Jahira's roman? cause she never see khalid ending.

hmm, i hadn't thought about that roleplaying bluntification.  better to gloss over it, or have jasper make an colorful comment about having passed by k's violated corpse...
'course one could grab the first cache of weapons on the first leve, then hit up jassy, then stop to chat with yoshi, and deal with the mephit portal room, to get the full effect of the discovery...

just a casual asking (you don't really want me to waste valuable keto-testing time finding out for myself, now do you?) - dbg or no, do minsc/jaheira go to their default stations if not recruited in CI?

leave the RP of it i m asking about the script, does the skip on the dungeon prevent me from doing the roman with Jahira?(wow what a bad english :/)

absolutely not. (but, pending an answer to my last question, i believe you need to collect her before engaging the skip.  (have you installed and observed it?  the skip is not exactly automatic, you still have the choice of doing everything as per usual.)  my RP comments were not intended to be an answer to your question.

I think the assumption is that you leave them to die in Irenicus' dungeon if you choose not to rescue them, whether you have DBG or not. There was talk in the Virtue forum about getting a virtue hit for leaving them in there.

i suppose it makes sense that they are not as lucky as imoen.
although one would expect boo to think of something...

it took Minsc thinking to get him out at any rate :P

Hmmm, there's a sidequest idea for Minscy people...the REVENGE OF THE GIANT SPACE HAMSTER, where Boo, after seeing his friend Minsc die because <Charname> didn't rescue him, Boo escapes the dungeon to go make <Charname> do the Hamster Dance of Death!

You have to let them out of their cages, or they'll die there.  You don't have to let them actually join the party.

Ahhh, what would I do without Jassy?  I don't even remember what it was like to trudge through that hideous Casa De Irenicus (thank the gods!)  THANK YOU Mistress Blue!

What happens if you let them out but don't have them join you.  Is there somewhere you can find them later?

Hi Melisa,

Minsk can be found in copper coronet, Jaheira will be near the harper stronghold in the docks. But if you want them in the party, I suggest that you let them join you once you rescue them, or else, they will not gain the precious 34500 experience points for exiting the dungeon.

Cheers
