SOURCE_SIZE is source size. Use BUFFER_LENGTH to track the size of the buffer.

SOURCE_SIZE doesn't update after things like DELETE_BYTES that affect the size of the file - is this intended?

I noticed this when trying to fix a bug here in fj_spl_itm_reindex.tpp (any chance this might become a standard WeiDU function like FJ_CRE_REINDEX btw :P After some fixup ofcourse)
