Hmm..still no worky.

FWDisableFlirts doesn't seem to exist...either that or I just can't find it. I tried creating it and setting it to 0 to no avail..

also, FWViconiaFlirtsStartTOB is definitely 1. I've sort of just accepted the fact that this mod won't work on my current install. no idea why, but what can you do...

thanks for looking into this anyway Jason. if you have any other idea i'm always all ears.

Okay, try this.

Step 0: Maybe something has disabled flirting globally?
Check FWDisableFlirts GLOBAL. You want it to be 0.

Step 1: Did the TOB flirt pack never kick in?
Check ("FWViconiaFlirtsStartTOB","LOCALS"). You want it to be 1.

Step 1b: If you had to set that value from 0 to 1, you'll want to set a timer to kick things off.
RealSetGlobalTimer("FWViconiaFlirtTOB","LOCALS",300)

Steps 1/1b simulate the beginning of the TOB flirt pack code.

Other obscure possibilities would include "the engine things Viconia is blind" (she can't initiate flirts unless she sees you) or "you're always too near an enemy or a neutral when she wants to flirt." It's pretty unlikely you could have played for this long and never had enough space, though. Perma-blindness is not unheard of, though. Can Viconia clear fog of war on her own?

I totally understand. I haven't had any time to fully get immersed and play. If you can figure this out anytime soon it'd be great. Thanks J!

I got busier than I expected with holiday wrapup work and last-minute errands, so I will try to take a look at this at some point over the next few days and remember what the heck is going on in there...

Hi Kulyok! Thanks for the response...and cute username!

In my current save game I have not changed any of the variables, just looked at them. Also, I am well past the first lovetalk (I just had the post Yaga-Shura "Isn't all this destruction great", and am approaching the one where Viconia asks if I want her to change. From what I remember, she should definitely be initiating flirts by now. Also, the fact that I can initiate them makes me think something is wrong ...

Thanks for your post regardless! Hopefully I am able to sort this out..

Flirts do not start in ToB until after first or second lovetalk, depending on the romance.

Also, just in case: if you're playing, try to choose a saved game where you haven't yet played with variables, because it IS possible to break the flirts by messing up globals. You may be fine, though.

Hello all,

I'm not sure if people still read this forum but I figure it's worth a shot. I have been enjoying the flirtpack with no problems. Throughout SoA it worked great. However, as I started ToB the NPC initiated flirts have vanished. I can still initiate PC flirts, with all the usual options there. However, Viconia does not spontaneously flirt with me anymore.

When I load a SoA savegame, when the romance is active, and enter "CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("FWViconiaFlirt","LOCALS",1)", the NPC initiated flirt triggers. But when I enter the same thing in ToB, nothing.

I know the romance is definetely active because I can initiate flirts and its well after her first talk. We are in between the yaga shura and alignment change dialogues. i'm not sure why the problem is exclusive to ToB, is it a mod issue? i also uninstalled the flirt pack and reinstalled it, and the problem is still there.

Also, I compared some variables such as FWViconiaFlirtsStart LOCALS, FWViconiaFlirt LOCALS, FWViconiaStartFlirtSOA GLOBAL, etc, and they all seem the same from my SoA save to my ToB save. what gives?

Any help would be very appreciated!
