Hi -

You're fine.  BG1's installer is unable to recognize partitions beyond 2GB in size, so it always reports maximum available space of 2GB.  If you just ignore the warning and proceed with a full install, it will work.

So after a good year or so I decided to try out Tutu, but I think the fates were against me when I tried to do a full installation and apparently I didn't have enough space, (and that is ridiculous because I had at least 7GB free!) it said I had 2047MB free or something. I'm really eager to try out the BG1 Xan Romance (because I absolutley love the BG2 version!) and I can't because of this! I'm rebooting my computer right now and I was wondering if this had happened to anybody else and what I can do to fix it. Any ideas are welcome! :)
