It looks like your dialog.tlk strings are seriously scrambled.

I'd go the usual way: delete override directory/mod directories/weidu.log, download and unpack a new override directory/dialog.tlk from here:

Takes a minute, and you have a clean install again. Then install your mods. And, yes, most probably you'll be able to continue playing your old save - or at least, in all these years, I've always been able to. Good luck.

I have a serious problem with the item upgrade mod. When I go to talk to Cromwell to forge anything it presents me with a long list of unrelated dialog choices, all of which lead to 'goodbye'. If I pick the top choice he searches through my stuff as per usual BUT he doesn't semm to be finding any of the new stuff that comes with the item upgrade mod. I was trying to upgrade Mazzy's sword, and when that didn't work I tried the improved kitthix, still no luck. It's reeeally annoying. Help, please!!
