You didnt have to use shadowkeeper.

When undead solu charges you, just run the party downstairs (he one you came up).

Then, 2 turns later, his spells have run out!

blech, ok i suck...

shadowkeepered a couple of time stops, protection from magics and a summon deva spellcasting ablititys and killed both solas...

but still dont thinkg such a powerful unsola has any meaning...

Hi. I have a problem. A problem that was mentioned here a million times but still i have no idea what i am supposed to do.

I love BG2. I installed the solaufein mod. Its cool. Even though Im not sure how much, because after about 10 minutes of playing with sol. he gets abducted by bodhi. Sure, why not. So I kill everything that moves in the dungeon, as always, and I get to the undead sol. part. He kicks my ass. Obviously. I kill everything else in the room, unsola kills my party. Great. Love it. (Im very pissed of course, because I want to play the game without first running around for 10 hours until im level 35 and then coming back to kill him).

But thats just what I do, i run around for some time level up a bit, even though I hate doing that, and then even use shadowkeeper to get some summon devas as was suggested (which I hate doing as well). I dont have any chain contingencies (or any 9lvl spells - SoA is too easy then) and dont understand most of the other stuff written on these forums. Anomen was killed before the order of the radiant heart.

So I go back to fight him thinking what fucking cheater I am that I had to use SK and other stuff to kill him, I come into the room and violaaa - 2 undead solas. Fuck. (Fuck.) I just want to play bg2 with Sola and NOT waste hours and hours trying to figure out HOW THE HELL kill undead sola(s).

Just for the fun of it, I entertain one sola with killing my whole party and try ouf if a hasted planetar "is really too much for sola". He kills three or four without the planetar taking a hp from him.

I know the mistake is on my side, I dont know the game too well but could just someone PLEASE tell me an easy, NORMAL, WORKING way how to get rid of the unsola (taking in account that im on the adequate level for killing bodhi and not on the level for killing dozens Liches while poking my nose)? 

And can I just ask what was the point of placing an insanely powerful character in the middle of the game? Why not just say that the 7th Lich League came to help bodhi and throw a dozen or two of liches into the battle? Would be way easier to deal with...
