Thanks for the reports. Anything I don't specifically mention can be assumed fixed.

MaeVar's aides noisily go invisible every time I go in and out of the basement. I don't remember them doing that before...
This isn't a bug; there are meant to be people poised in the shadows, blah blah blah. It's not terribly noisy for me, but do you not feel it works very well?

Proposed edits to any of the writing are also welcome. Unless the line's been voiced, in which case I will join CoM.

Edwin seems to do a lot of meleeing with Rayic. He puts up minor spell turning and then just whales away. Rayic doesn't do a whole lot of spellcasting himself: there's the trigger and Melf's and that's about it aside from poking with sharp objects. Not very impressive for two of the more powerful mid-level mages you can find in Athkatla. :)

Edwin also runs to the portal to the lower level rather easily, leaving Rayic standing doing nothing.

Got Edwin in party.

Went to Rayic's place.

Rayic says his thing correctly, Edwin leaves and goes Enemy, they fight with some of my help, Rayic wins. Then he stands there. And then I click talk him and he says "Ah, Edwin, how nice of you to join us. Surprised etc" and "Excellent work bringing him here. But where is the ring? You cannot have lost it." "Bah! Idiots, all you you! Feel my wrath!" (note slight grammar problem.) And then, yeah, attacks me, when... whaddid I ever do?

I'm presuming you were thinking we'd pick the ring up off Edwin's corpse first?

MaeVar goes to "nothing to say to you" if you pick "As you say. Is there anything further" rather than telling him you have to tell him something. Given the option to betray Edwin as well, I thought I'd nip up, sell out Edwin, then come back DOWN and handle MaeVar, so perhaps there should be a way to come back later and raise the issue.

There are a couple of not-quite-done (or not-done-at-all) components that should be detailed in a txt file somewhere. It'll save you a headache figuring out why nothing's happening with some of them.
