Thanks again, I'm going to be re-installing later tonight for a fresh game. Partially because it seems I need that darn fixpack x.x few issues cropping up still sadly *sigh*

I actually went into my folder just a moment ago, searched, and just previewed the file before removing it, so going to test it out before I reinstall later.=)

er side note, might you point me tot he forum where I could ask about mod suggestions? o.o (few I keep looking at but can't find answers about)

Thanks again!

Short answer: a string of files starting with that, i.e. o#xan905.wav, o#xan906.wav and so on. Only files *.wav.

Long answer: Maybe it's best not to remove the files at all, then. Because under no circumstances should a file named o#xan90.wav exist, and if you start deleting files like o#xan090, well, bad idea(and it shouldn't exist in the first place if you're using BG1 voice).

(yay for logging in!)

If your still around, had one last question. To be clear is there a string of files with "o#xan90", or is that the only one that needs removal?

Or better question might be which files should I watch for to be sure I don't remove any "normal" Xan voice things. o.o

Thank you very much, I thought that might be the way to go, though I was unsure of which files and where specifically.

and no worries about extra caution/information, always glad to have it, and wouldn't want anyone else to lose game progress or have issues as well if they try this!

I'll have to try logging in then it seems, perhaps I just never got the second mail, but it finally kicked in, as that is indeed the correct information.

Thank you again for all your help, at this rate I'm going to find myself actually making my own mods ahah @.x *not a modder usually, but having way to much fun*

(as for the e-mail, I have no idea why it works or doesn't work, I'm sorry!  but from the admin board, I see there's a user Erithan with an e-mail that starts with Emerald... and you're authorized and approved, logging in should be working).

Hi!

Yes, your attention to detail is incredible - I've indeed created alternate voiceset for Xan and it works everywhere but in Xan-Kelsey and Angelo-Xan banters, maybe some other crossmod ones. Sorry! But if you would like Xan to be silent in these banters, you can still do it: open your override directory very carefully, sort by name and find .wav files AND WAV FILES ONLY starting with o#xan90 AND NO OTHER FILES, and delete them - again, very carefully. I would not recommend it to an unexperienced user, because you can incidentally delete Xan's main voice files and/or his other files. But if you've done something like this before (sorry if I sound pedantic, but I must address not just you here, but everyone else who might be reading this and trying this thing later), go ahead.

Hopefully right place to post this @.x

More recently installed the Kelsey mod as I kept hearing about it(before I actually looked it up always thought it was for a female npc whoops...), and I've come across an issue I'm hoping is resolvable concerning banter with Xan.

Issue is with the Xan mod for bg II, I always make sure to install his original voice from bg I. However to my chagrin with both Kelsey and Xan in party a banter popped up, fully voiced....with the person who did the alternate(right term?) soundset for Xan for BGII originally.

I'm wondering if there is anyway to make the interactions silent as far as the voice over on Xan's part? They seem like they'd have some interesting banters from what I can tell, but I just can't take the sudden change.@@

Thank you for any help,
~Erithan *still wondering about that second e-mail hmmm*
