Thanks! I'm going to take a look at the game as soon as beta/regular official edition is available. Or wait until the guys start installing mods on it, I don't know.

IWDEE is built on an IWD-in-BG2 codebase. It's likely that the IWD-in-BG2 version of IWDNPC will work on IWDEE with very few changes (though I haven't tried it myself and haven't been very involved in IWDEE after providing the original converter to Beamdog).

IWDNPCs is the first mod I want to install on IWD:EE!

Hey, welcome to PPG, shawne! No half-orc race, because that would require a new character with a completely different story(shrek-like, probably; and I can't write that well).
Or you could go completely off the wall and make a caster Half-Orc. yes, they usually are not, but he has his story to tell, so.

As for the kits, I think I've included some of the kits for the IWD-in-BG2 option - Cavalier for Holvir, Archer for Korin, sorcerer for Severn(convenience only, he's still a bard) and so on. :)
I am pretty sure I took this off from somewhere here, or the ReadMe:
Holvir, paladin; alternate class: cavalier, inquisitor, undead hunter
Korin,  ranger; alternate class: archer, beast master, stalker, multiclass cleric/ranger
Nella,  fighter, possible dual-class - cleric, druid; alternate class: berserker, kensai, wizard slayer, monk, multiclass fighter/cleric, multiclass fighter/druid
Severn, bard; alternate class: blade, jester, skald, mage, sorcerer, wild mage, multiclass fighter/mage
Teri, multiclass fighter/thief; alternate class: thief, assassin, bounty hunter, swashbuckler,   multiclass mage/thief, multiclass fighter/mage/thief .

The only thing I would like you to add is to make it possibility for me to install Nella as a Cleric, and perhaps as a Druid. See, had to do it by hand...

That actually raises an interesting question I'd like to ask Kulyok:

Given the new options being added to IWD:EE (classes, kits and the half-orc race), what - if anything - would you change about Holvir, Korin, Nella, Teri and/or Severn that wouldn't have been possible with the original IWD? :)
Actually those options are already available in the IWDinBG2 edition of this mod... so that's not much AT ALL !
Well, the few added kits by the EE engine, but that's it.

Kulyok seems to be speechless:) Don't worry, my dear, you have our full support for any future conversion of this fantastic mod to EE, so no pressure:p

Hey just wanted to add that I too really enjoyed this mod, it made IWD substantially more interesting and the characters were very well written, I didn't personally like all of them but even the ones I wasn't so keen on (Terri just wasn't for me) still added colour to an otherwise bland game.

I would also add that the voice acting was superb for a mod and having the occasional first sentence of a banter spoken really added to the characters personality. It provided the setting/tone but still allowed for some readers imagination.

So yeah, great work Kulyok! I look forward to trying more of your mods in the future :)

Hoorah! :) That's really great. I'm very glad you've enjoyed it.

(And, yep, I'm a fan of minimaxing, too).

First things first, fantastic mod Kulyok, thank you for expanding IWD in such an... exquisite... way!

Initially I was strongly reluctant to use this mod, being used to having each of my 6 characters carefully rolled to the pool of 90+ points and then minmaxed on top of that, so it was hard to accept subperfect characters (Wis 14 cleric huh? Yes, I'm looking at you, Korin). Luckily, I've decided to give it a try and since I started playing with your crew I haven't regretted this decision even once! After all, the chance to play along with some persons having opinions, preferences, affections and all this stuff persons are expected to have is so much better than having few additional spell slots, and now my party have these in abundance :)

It's a very crappy Infinity Engine. And IWD2 is even "better" - they tried to implement 3E rules, and I can't say I loved the end result. Domi's IWD2 NPC makes it more bearable, though.

Thank you, I'm so glad! I wish I could add things like sidequests and tavern talks, too! IWD engine is tricky, though - that's why you're not getting epilogues, only the final conversations/lovetalks in the game's finale. I might figure something about sidequests in the future, though I give no promises...
Wait. it's not the infinity engine?
