Nice little quest mod! I liked the new area. I loved the overall quality of dialogues, they were very well written and also funny without "breaking the wall". I also thought, that I was getting too much xp and perhaps most of the battles could be tougher. I dont like Tactics etc. that much, but for a charname after Underdark Sellswords was way too easy. Especially when you consider, that you are fighting with the most powerful person in the Underdark. Tune up some of the more important fights (for example the final battle, the one with the Drow officer and the fights in the Arena) and leave the rest. Its homeland of Drows. Every visitor should bleed to get through. :)

I've got a question. Is there an evil path? ;)

If I release my next mod, it'll be a small quest mod for ToB. But first and foremost, I think, will come Romantic Encounters for BG1 under Jastey: I've written quite a few encounters for that one(12?15? well, a few).

I enjoyed sellswords and I would rate it a 8 out of 10, maybe 8.5, but I was wondering if you got something in your pocket, that you, Kulyok, will release someday. Are you planning an update, even if in a very far future? XD

I liked it - lots to see and do. I haven't read the books so, whilst I've heard of the characters, I'm not invested in them to the extent that other players might be, so I had no particular expectations. EXP may be a bit on the high side, I agree, but it didn't feel like a big deal to me.

I'm not sure I should go into improving Sellswords in a melancholy "ah well, it sucks anyway" mode, because it is rarely productive. But I will try to do something if I indeed get inspired. A more interesting ToB part, perhaps.

Noted. Try Back to Brynnlaw; maybe you'll like it better.

I have to agree, I was quite disappointed in how straight forward a 'go there and kill this' type of mod it turned out to be, especially one involving Drow and the likes of Jarlaxle, Entreri, B.D. etc. which sets up expectations of at least some intrigue/double crossing/unexpected twists.

The xp and loot available were extremely high as well, to the point it made the game completely unbalanced (I tend to heavily favor  balanced/modest reward mods, as adding any mod to the game potentially is beefing up the xp/item pool no matter what). imo it was bad enough I reloaded to the save before starting the mod's storyline and ignored/skipped it entirely and proceeded to finish out the game.

Overall, very disappointed because I've seen what you can do on other mods.

I read the Dark Elf trilogy, but it's been... a while.

I'm not sure I want an option to side with her in the end, but I could try to introduce an option mid-quest and then she'd betray you(obviously: hello, NWN-HoU). And, yep, some Entreri info wouldn't go amiss.

(You haven't read the books, right? I'm not sure if the Sellsword trilogy works for you or not, but I can't help recommending it - it's the Thrawn Trilogy of FR series).

Thanks. The conversation material between characters wasn't bad. I think I expected more backstory around Artemis, since some players may not know much of who he was.

I was also surprised the Matron Mother didn't have a few more tricks up her sleeves - or the option to side with her. Did I miss that?

I've been playing SWTOR lately, where every quest basically is a variation of "go there, kill this", but I see what you mean: without emotional response the player gets bored. I will think on your words, I promise.

At the risk of being kind of obvious, Sellswords was pretty much variations on "go here and kill this thing". I was hoping for more branching quests or ones that had options for solutions outside raw death; some puzzle types, for example.

My other observation was that there was a _lot_ of XP being handed out. Something like 40k just for going and completing a conversation. I know it's in Chapter 6, but still....

Also, thanks (I think?) for the guy selling every possible mage spell scroll, AND protection from magic scrolls. High thieving skills meant I could steal every scroll I was missing for my mages, gaining a huge pile of free XP, and the hugely (ab)useable protection from magic scrolls.
