I can't tell you about multiplayer, I'm afraid, I've never tried it myself(I'm not the mod's maker, just one of the forum moderators), but: if you're asking about Khalid, then it's not Banter Pack, it's BG1 content from BG1 NPC Project.
Whilst playing in any multiplayer game, all banter pack dialogue ends just after the first line.
This affects any banter pack dialogue between any NPCs controlled by different players; e.g., Imoen (Player 1) asks Khalid (Player 2) something about his feelings toward Jaheira just for the conversation to end abruptly when clicking "Continue."
Is there missing code in the mod that overlooks multiple machines communicating (no pun intended) with eachother in this regard?
Any input in the matter will be of great aid.
P.S. If it makes a difference, I noticed I replied to the title for the Version 13, and I have Version 14.
I recall banter pack still is in "install for BG2 part only" category? Anyway, yes, I think it's worth it to adjust the variables, if I get jcompton's say-so.
I'm using version 14 installed on BGT, and I have BG2 banters in BG1 part. Only one so far, Viconia starts with "What brought you to life?" I've searched to the issue and this old thread http://www.shsforums.net/topic/37191-banters-in-bg1/ suggests that it has something to do with Banter pack, so I'm posting it here. All right, thank you. To me it seems that all three REPLACEs are not needed, IF BG2Fixpack takes care of this stuff now(does it, by the way?). But since it's a design decision(not merely adding a translation), I'll leave this stuff to jcompton.
