I finally managed to install the whole bunch. Thank you!

Fixed cases of non-tail-recursive code in OCaml's List library, enough to get my test case to install. Can somebody grab the beta from http://www.weidu.org/~thebigg/beta and confirm that you can now install the full BWP Expert using 231.01?

Thanks to all testers.

Indeed, this happens because French people pose off as connoisseur philosophers while being {REMOVED BY MODERATOR} and program non-tail-recursive standard libraries (including List.map and other stuff that is used in 90% of WeiDU's code).

I think OCaml caps the memory around the gigabyte mark, so that's not it.

So it sounds like WeiDU tries to load in all logged DEBUG files or something and then chokes? I know nothing about it, but I'd be curious as to why it tries this (or what it's trying to do) and what the memory limits are - some sort of OCaml stupidity no doubt. Anyway, the bigg probably needs those last DEBUG files to do anything about it, if that's even possible. Though it's a pretty major issue if mods can't even be installed manually.

I have already tried to install the missing mods manually even after restarting my computer to be sure nothing can disturb the process, however, with the same result. The Task manager showed WeiDU was loading about 180.000 K into the memory until it begun to copy and then crashed.

I have noticed before (some time ago) that BWP would not install the exact mods I specified, particularly toward the end of an install. This was especially notable when running a dual mirrored install (same mods) with different versions of WeiDU (for the purpose of testing a new WeiDU). I wasn't sure what to attribute it to though. Seems like a possible memory leak? Would it help closing WeiDU (and perhaps the command window entirely) in between each mod install?

I haven't received the email, did you send it?

I wanted to attach the debugs of all mods that are not installed, however, I am not able to attach any files. I will send you an email.

I hope this will be any help for you. As I mentioned before, these mods are installed flawless if I skip any of the big mods.

This isn't something I cause or can control. Since I'm not going to install the BWP myself, could you upload a representative setup-mymod.debug?

I noticed already several times that the tweaks at the end of a BWP installation such as "Experience Fixer", "Spell System Adjustments" or mods like "Pack Mule" cannot be installed in the intended order.
When I started one of these mods, they crashed in exact that moment when they start to copy files.

I blamed one of the many installed mods for this problem, but now I figured out it is WeiDU itself!

When I leave out one of the big mods like NeJ or RoT the whole thing can be installed without any problems.
I tried several test installs with various mods left out. This problem is reproducible with the same result independend which mods I skip.

Is there any way to enhance WeiDU to do larger installations?
