Hey. :) You're doing all right - it's a non-bonded path, and everything is as it should be.

Xan broke up with CHARNAME, because he was just too afraid of the Slayer, but you still get all the post-breakup talks and romance-related banters from Imoen and others. Bodhi wouldn't touch Xan in this path, because technically, your CHARNAME and Xan are no longer together... for now. Note this "for now", and see what I mean in ToB.  Best of luck, and enjoy your playthrough!

Hie!

I just went to the graveyard for the final battle with Bodhi, and I think this is the part where your partner gets taken away. Not that I am eager to see Xan die, but ... he remained in the party.

I read in the forums that he dies in the bonded path. Is he supposed to remain in the non-bonded one?

In the Underdark, I had the Drow Xan talks. When we got to Suldanessellar, the player-initiated dialogs reverted to the ones I had in Spellhold (I haven't gone through all of them though ... is it necessary to go through all of them?). I assumed the romance was still 'on', in a sense, because the banter with Imoen trying to get him to go to the river triggered.

Is it possible I may have offended him somewhere?

Thanks for the Xan-service  ;)
