 it worked like a charm! I had a backup of my ini so I just switched it in and everything is back to normal - I just had to adjust my game play preferences. I had no idea this stuff was stored in the ini.

Thanks again!

Karen :)

Good idea! An asdditional followup - check to make sure your keyboard isn't hanging. I had troubles once where I kept getting random junk, and it turned out something was resting on a key...

Thank you so much - I'll give it a try. I never thought to look in the ini lol.

Not 100% sure if this will work being I've never heard of this problem before but my answer sounds logical.... Open your baldur.ini file and scroll down to the very bottom, should show something like...

[Lua Edit]
String0=CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Orc01")
String1=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("9800000")
String2=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("8800000")
String3=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("7800000")
String4=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("5800000")
String5=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("4800000")
String6=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("3800000")
String7=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("2800000")
String8=CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("10000")
String9=

(Yes I just did a fresh install, nothing super serious in my file hehe)

Anyway... my theory would be to just erase the commands and make it like ....

[Lua Edit]
String0=
String1=
String2=
String3=
String4=

My game didn't go to chapter 6 so Bodhi never appeared at the graveyard. After reading the topic here I used the global cheat and it worked. Bodhi appeared and we got the Lanthorn. But, now I have another problem. I can't use the cheat code console  anymore - I left the global cheat there after using it and the next time I opened the console all I got was a bunch of "ssssss" after the code that's there. I can't erase the code and nothing I tried worked. I went back to another saved game, but got the same problem. I really want my cheat console back lol! How do I fix this problem? Any help would be really appreciated!
