You should be able to get more than 5 APR with an offhand (shield) weapon and the two-weapon proficiency. For something like a carrior crawler, you'd never see the undroppable weapons in its "hands" anyway, so it should work.

So it's virtually impossible to get over 5 attacks per round without improved haste or whirlwind.

It's not very important because very few monsters have more than 5, but some have like crawlers (in P&P).
It's just a bad thing that developpers packed several effects into one.

Or it should have been possible to just set a number of attacks per round superior to 5.
I tried to put 5 and Modify attack per round, but it doesn't go over 5. 2 + 2 works, but 5+5 gives 9/2

I also try to add Movement speed bonus set to counter Double attack number but again, it doesn't work.

I suppose I hit an engine limitation.
Thanks for reply!

I think you're out of luck. That opcode essentially doubles the speed of ALL aspects of the affected creature(s): Attacks per Round, Movement Rate, and things that happen at a certain rate, like Poison and Regeneration. I've never heard of any way to separate any of these facets from the others.

Hi,

This effect is used in greater whirlwind to set attack to 10:
- effect 1 - modify number of attacks : set to 5
- effect 317 - double number of attacks
This ends up to 10 attacks per round.

It seems to also give a movement speed boost as spell improved haste. At least, this is what I get when I add this effect to a creature.
Is it possible to get only double attacks?

This effect seems to be the only one to get over 5 attacks per round, but I don't want side effects like increase movement speed...
