I see. Thanks for the reply, Macready.

Now to find a willing candidate... ;)

There was a time when I would have said no, only because the mod was released to promote a major release of EasyTutu.  But that time has passed.

I won't personally be involved in any conversion, simply because the BGT platform holds no interest for me, and I don't know too much about its internals.  But I certainly don't have anything against those who use BGT as their engine conversion of choice, and I don't really have a problem with the mod being converted.  I would only ask that I am credited as the author, and the person responsible for the conversion is credited as such and takes responsibility for supporting BGT-specific issues.

If there is no one interested in taking that on, then there probably won't be a BGT conversion.

Thanks for the interest in Hard Times.

Hi there.

Having previously tried the Hard Times mod, I find I really don't want to play without it anymore. I'm now trying out a Big World Project game, which uses Baldur's Gate Trilogy instead of Tutu. I only wish Hard Times was compatible with BGT.

Is there any chance you (Macready) would consider making a version of Hard Times that will work with BGT as well?

I first asked about this in the BWP forum, and got this reply by Miloch:

"Hard Times would be pretty easy to convert to BGT... Ascension64's Platform Conversion Utility could probably do it automatically."

and

"I mean run it through this, but it probably wouldn't make a foolproof conversion so someone who knows something about code would have to look at it."

So it should be doable for someone who knows what they're doing...right? Unfortunately, that definitely excludes me.
