I just cant get it to work. It keeps saying it cant recognise the executable file. I've told it exactly where it is... and tried a couple of other things... but nope

For future reference...

DaleKeeper can not handle items from HOW & ToTLM. Most likely due to HOW & ToTLM being released after DaleKeeper.

To get DaleKeeper to work with saves from HOW & ToTLM and vanilla games with mods which add HOW & ToTLM based items:

1) Remove ALL party member items and drop them onto the ground.
2) Save the game in a new slot.
3) Exit the game and open DaleKeeper
4) Load your saved game where the party members are without items
5) Make whatever changes you wish and save
6) Start IWD and load your modified save
7) Pickup your items from the ground, re-equip and go on having fun...

NOTE: While not tested by me, this method has been proven to work by other individuals...

I never tried Dalekeeper, myself. So, all that I can recommend is to be careful, and to avoid using it if you're not completely sure it's fully functional and you know exactly what's going on with each command.

Maybe someone else will know more. An alternative would be to wait a few levels and to switch his proficiencies. Or to strip Holvir's equipment, import a first-level Holvir, increase his XP manually, and choose extra proficiency.

Yeah i did that, everything is alright now

But i do have a fetish for the Dale/Gate/Shadow Keepers

Eurgh

OK, i deleted him, because when i saved it last time
It used the stats and proficiencies from my main character, so he was completley different
So i re-imported him, and now i can edit him in Dale Keeper without any issues

Except ....
Now that i've done that, it's giving me the same
"Seek failed on an unnamed file" but on my own character now

Eurgh

Haha i bet i work this out myself, i must look like a crazy man with all these posts ...

One more thing i've noticed,
It shows his Characteristics page

But everything else (Name, Abilities, Proficiencies etc ...) are all of the previous person switched from

Enjoying the mod thus far,
Am currently about to leave Kuldahar into the Vale
But ...

When editing a saved game in Dale Keeper, every time i switch to Holvir it says the following
"Seek failed on an unnamed file"
It shows his profile picture, but has the information of the previous person i switched from.
Meaning i can't actually edit his character at all

Any ideas?
Annoying because i want to change his Large Swords to Great Swords.
*sigh*
