IIRC, Chaotic Commands confers a hidden immunity to Stun in the vanilla game, perhaps you could try that.

I tried *several* times to beat them the first time I ran across them, but I either got whacked quickly, or someone got killed beyond Resurrection. I finally gave up and CTRL+Yed them to death (except for one mage, I wanted to take it out on someone :P).

Haven't bothered with the encounter again so far, perhaps I will sometime.

My memory here is rusty, but pre-buffing (including Improved Haste) and pound (with Critical Strike, not with Greater Whirlwind) on the AntiPaladin (who dispels on hit like Carsomyr), you should be able to kill him in the first round (otherwise, say good bye to your buffs). Spells here are basically useless, since they have loads of immunities (unless you throw in a Planetar and an Elemental Prince), the role of your casters should be to either attack with summoned weapons and/or cast summons/buffs. Sola is immune to the time stops, try to get the enemies to attack him, and during eclipses have them chasing Sola by doing some microing. They also are stupid against Protection From Magical Weapons.

Try to give the Cloack of Non-detection and loads of Invisibility Potions to Valygar, then backstab them (Staff of the Ram, if you have it and the skill). It works great against the Kensai, Antipaladin and Cleric, whereas the others are immune (Barb) or have Stoneskins (Sorc, Druid). Fighter/Thief + assasination was my favorite tactic, but alas  :(

No, abi dalzim won't help, I'm afraid: even with the robe and the amulet, casting time is too long. There were some clues in Sola readme, though - read it, it should help.

And welcome to PPG, naturally. :)

Anything else? how to avoid getting stunned by their fighters?
And they are immune to time stop right?
maximum dragon breath I can cast is 3 with imp alarcity and 4 without.
And I want to kill them in core rules. That's the fun.
Any other tips? Should I insist casting abi dalzim? lower resist? any useful clr\drd spells I could use?

Play on Easy Difficulty - they're not as hard then. Or, if you're given up, avoid the challenge by reloading telling Sola "it's just a dream".

Multiple Dragon Breaths via Improved Alacrity(two spellcasters) help.

Well ok. I need a few tips - I cant get through those guys.
My player is a fighter, I have valygar anomen cernd sola and imoen.
If I gang up on some fighter with all my fighters (including a simularcilum of valyger) I deal damage, but they regenerate like hell. a second without my attacks and they got to full health.  I can't get cernd to cast bug swarm spells because they gang up on him in the first total eclipse. Their fighters just go crazy and stun all spellcasters with fighter death strike and smite. Plus, they have high SR so lots of abi dalzim's can't get them. I tried blasting them with lower resist and then use abi dalzim, but they just regenerate it up. What can I do? hope for luck with my vorpal weapons? (valygar uses the vorpal axe). Should I use celestial fury? Should I try to stun them too with smite and such?
Their spellcasters are not such a problem really, besides the druid's creeping doom. Somehow dragon's breath isn't much pf a pain. The fighter's stun ability is the real problem I think...
Help!
