Wow! jcomptooooooooooooooon, look at this!

Thank you, I liked it a lot - great stuff.

Now, I guess, only Tiax and Xan Friendship for BG1 remain non-covered. :)

Don't know if you already got one, but here's a banner with those amazing portraits from Mrs. Cake:

As always, suggest/flame away.

I will test it, of course, and thank you very much for the offer.

The one thing that bugs me about this mod is the number of characters available -- 5. But, oh well, you can't have everything.

That's the thing: IWD is not geared towards replayability as much as BG2, and so is IWD NPC.

Besides, you see people arriving to IWD2 NPC forum and stating from the start: okay, I read your character outlines, and I didn't like them; will there be more characters? I want a different char! Nooo, I say, it won't do. Try these five first.

I could easily add a few more outlines, the obligatory dwarf, another female, etc, but it'll turn to obligatory "and now I must fill these gaps, and now I must complete his/her banters; gods, I am tired of this" soon enough.

Which is why I didn't go forward with "BG1 NPC in IWD" idea. Overall, I've done about 10% of writing for BG1 NPC, and with the exception of Xan stuff, it was a job to finish; an enjoyable one, but not pure, unadulterated fun, the way it is/was with Xan, Dungeon Crawl, or IWD NPC. Same with RE: at the end of July, I felt my energy was running out, so it was time to stop and release/code and test something others made, and release, not to push for quantity(though, yes, just like with BG1 NPC, RE materials are very diverse).

I believe in the rule "when the modder/writer is having fun, it shows". Let's hope you'll believe me when you see the end result. :)

I think we have already got used to your amazing quality AND quantity writing in such a short periods of time... Once you have the beta, I volunteer for testing. If you plan to test it officially, that is.

It's not, honestly. Flirt Pack and Banter pack were completed in a couple of weekends. Many writers/modders write as fast or faster; or much faster. The thing is, they may have other obligations, children, shifting code for other projects, etc. I'm only interested in telling stories. :)

That's.... fast work.
Having never completed even the main game I have no idea how long the expansions are, but I would assume they're smaller than IWD and youre well on your way to completion.
That must be some kind of record.

So, tell us - how many months from conception to first alpha?

I've been thinking about the characters in December. I was head over heels busy with Angelo at that point, so it was hopeless to try to do something else(It was something like:  Me: "Look, I've got to write some IWD NPC content over the New Year holidays, so let's resume work on Angelo around January 10, right?" - SisterV: "Sure, of course. By the way, here's another encounter for Angelo, and, please, code these additional lovetalks." - Me: "Grr."). But I more or less  started writing at the beginning of the New Year.

And thank you, everyone.

Congratulations! I don't play IWD, so not likely to see it, but congratulations nonetheless.

Hey, that's amazing news. Time for me to fire up the ol' PC and install my IWD again. Ever efficient, Kulyok: good job.  :)
