I replied about randomization in this topic - as always, I am interested in your opinion.

And, yes, there'll be more previews. :)

Any chance of randomised dialogue? I love lots and lots and lots (and lots) of dialogue in my games, but if I'm playing through the same dialogue every time I do tend to get irritated. If you have that much dialogue, is it all necessary, or is there any chance it could be somehow randomised so that we don't see the same dialogue every time through?

I haven't really commented before, but I am eagerly following this project, and will definitely play IWD (and actually attempt to finish it this time) when IWDNPC is released. :D

Er, on topic - more previews pls, indeed!

There's a lot. One major thing I wanted was to play and hear banter(NPC-NPC as much as PC-NPC; basically, for each PC-NPC banter there're two NPC-NPC ones) often, and never run out of it. I won't give you exact numbers, yet, but I don't think you'll be bored. :)

The downside is that the game is not as replayable as BG2: once you've played it, you've seen it all(except the four romance conclusions: you will only see one or none; that's set in stone). Then again, we talk of five new characters, and five characters only.

What I would be interested to know is how many talks there'll be per character per chapter.
One of the few things I wish I could change about the IWD2NPC mod is the fact that each character has only two major talks per chapter.
I suppose this is a problem of having quite a large number of characters to write for, but personally I'd rather see fewer characters with a lot to say than a lot of characters who have little to say.

Okay, perhaps not tonight, as I've been alpha-testing Chapter 6(without the - rather large - finale part and romance conclusions), and just finished one minute ago. But maybe tomorrow. There is always a boom tomorrow. :)

I'll probably put up some more screenshots tonight, but no promises. :)

I'm supposed to finish Chapter 3 tonight, so my install will be working again(I tend to type straight in the dialogue file, so it temporarily becomes not-working when I'm adding material; I really should stop this practice). I'll see what I can do. :)

You mean they can't all just have lovely question mark heads as portraits? :(

(Yes, a preview would be nice)

Would I like some previews?

Is Xan gloomy? ;)

(And any generic preview is appreciated - info, screenshots, a little more insight into the characters - anything!)

Oh yes, any and all previews would be very much appreciated. IWD2 NPC gave me a reason to play IWD2, and I'd love to have a similar reason to play IWD1, now that I actually have a copy of it. ^_^

... or would you like to keep everything a surprise?

The mod, partly because of the core content, partly because of the game engine, and partly because of very little(all right, none) randomness, may not provide as much in terms of replaying as BG2 with its vast array of mods.

Nevertheless...

... would like previews?  Screenshots?  More information in general?

One warning: I do not have portraits yet; for the time being, I am using the ones from cassinus's site. So the screenshots will not reflect the final appearance of the characters.
