Hmm. Maybe swearing at it helped. Usually, though, if you've managed to hose your dialog.tlk enough to cause blank strings, you've hosed it enough to make the rest of the file unusable. You lucked out.

Thanks for the advice, but simply reinstalling the mod rather than the entire fucking game worked just the same!

If the dialogue is blank, that tells me you might have accidentally installed the mod with either another mod installer still open, NI open, or the game itself open, but minimized.

If so, don't feel bad. I've done it myself.

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to recover from this. You'd have to do a complete reinstallation, deleting the entire game folder between uninstalling BG2 and reinstalling BG2.

I got jasper to show up but all the dialogue is blank, what do i need to do? this is my first time installing a mod so i'm kind of lost
