It's not as hard as I thought at first, I just walked in unprepared the first run. :o the second run I kinda sacrificed my whole party.  :pirate All hail invisibility plus cone of cold wand! I thought I was dead, and my last resort was to pop Sarevok with a wand of cold, I got lucky and whooped him.

This is actually the first feedback I have had on the final battle so I have just assumed that it was possible to complete it. When making it I tried it several times to make sure that it would be difficult, but not impossible. I do realise that I had the advantage of knowing exactly what they wouldl do.

So you mean, has anyone just stormed in wiped the floor with him? Don't know. I wouldn't try it.

Sarevok has no longer got innate magic or elemental resistances. This makes him more vulnerable to spells in general. He drinks a lot of potions and all these buffs may be removed with Dispel Magic.

Then I mean, has anyone beaten him without using cheap tactics. I hardly count launching 3 cloudkills and hiding counts, since a real person would move outside of the cloudkill... Hmmm... I'll have to try something similar. I just won't be satisfired until I've annhialated him in  realistic way.

BTW--I nailed him with fireballs and arrows of detonation. And my party got pretty crispy, too, but we mostly made it.

Since when is using legitimate spells cheating? That's what they're for. Unless you consoled in the scrolls or something, and even then, I'd say it was iffy at worst. It wasn't like you simply CTRL-Yed him.

Seriously, that final battle is so hard I didn't even last 45 seconds. Sarevok massacres Kagain in 10 seconds, and my Kagain is level 11 so he's not lacking in HP. I only beat it cause I used massive cheat strategy... 3 cloudkills and run >.>. SO.... how did you beat Sarevok? I know there are people who've done it legit... I'm just curious because I was completely massacred.
