I recommend the artwork pack mod by Lightspeed here:  http://www.spellholdstudios.net/mods/1pp/

Changes the paperdolls and such to look like BG1 versions rather than BG2.   ;)

I think it was originally made for BG2, but it works with Tutu, also.

No problem -- it is a great game, and the mods we are discussing make it even more interesting to play without fundamentally or invasively messing with the original storyline.
The Tutu scene actually has relatively few non-NPC mods. The good news is that the small number seems to mean less "filtering" needed.
BG2 on the other hand... you need some of the serious BG2 experts around here (not me 8) ) to give their advice on the massive (and sometimes contradictory/incompatable) list of expansions, quests, NPCs, rules tweaks, Total Conversions, etc.!

Thanks for the help.

You should sticky a list like that somewhere, its a bit overwhelming with the number of mods out there as to which ones are worth using

The components below primarily make changes to gameplay, visuals/graphics, and interaction (except the Tweaks component list, some of which allow closer-to-pen&paper changes). Most of these have little to do with the pen & paper rules, they just modify the game experience rather than changing the equivalent of the AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide (tm). BG1/2 are 2nd Edition rules, so some things will definitely be different if you areused to newer rules:

EDIT: Duh, I forgot: I usually prefer NiGHTMARE's portrait pack to the BG1NPC version. I clipped this list out of parts of my current install, and forgot that since I was playing around with BG1NPC, I was using that instead... NiGHTMARE won't promote it, but I definitely will  8)

all of these successfully interact -- just be sure to download the latest versions and upgrade to the latest WeiDU (v192 if you want BG1NPC and Coran to  work as intended!).

The Tutu Tweak Pack has several components which implement pnp rules, such as "Allow Stealth and Thieving Abilities in Heavy Armor per P&P", "P&P Style Protection Items" and "PnP Spell Progression Tables".

Divine Remix gives clerics, paladins, druids and rangers spell selections that are more in line with pnp, and most of DR's new kits are inspired by ones from various 2nd edition sourcebooks.

Finally, it has nothing to do with adding pnp rules, but I highly recommend the use of the BG1 NPC Project.  It'll give the joinable characters more personality, new quests, etc.

Hello -

Im currently firing up another game of bg using EasyTutu and i would like to know which mods are recommended to play with it. I would like the game to be as close to PnP rules as possible. So what mods would you's all suggest?

My recommendations are in the "Mods" section at the bottom of the EasyTutu page.
