Ran into trouble with d0tweak trying to patch summoning cap. Sent the DEBUG file to simding0@hotmail.com
It went on like this:

ERROR: illegal 4-byte read from offset 358 of 210-byte file BELT05.ITM
ERROR: [BELT05.ITM] -> [override/BELT05.ITM] Patching failed (COPY) (FailureBELT05.ITM read out of bounds") )
Stopping installation because of error.

Therefore it didn't install due to errors.

Alternatively, I can add an option for enemies not to set off traps.

It would be great!

I'm unsure of what would cause this, however. It could be an issue with WeiDU's ability to back up larger files. I'll consult Mr. Bigg. (If the worst comes to the worst I can introduce an option to the mod itself to restore the original XP, but the backup really should be working.)
Could be a byproduct of biffing files via --make-biff rather than via tp2 BIFF.

Sorry, looks like I forgot to mention that it was the improved illych and not the normal one.

If it happens with regular Ilyich, I'll fix it. If it's specific to Improved Illyich, then tracking down which traps he wanders over is more effort than I can be bothered with. (If somebody else wants to give me the relevant scripts and CREs then I'll incorporate it.)

Illych and his party set off the traps and kill themselves also.

Thanks for the reports.

Virtue: great idea, well implemented, but until you slow down how often the party comment on the current virtue, I wont reinstall it.
Done.

NPC's/summons set off traps: love this one, but it needs a couple of exceptions. In the tanner quest, when you chase him downstairs he ALWAYS sets off one of the traps by the second stairs. Doesn't make sense really.
Also done. Can you think of any other exceptions?

Smarter illusionary clones: they have a tendency to blunder toward the party, even when the group has just turned up and has no idea that there is anyone about. Is it possible to slow them down?
Does anyone ever cast any illusionary spells before you've seen them? Regardless, I believe I've fixed this.

DEF jam- I installed the starting XP reduction along with the other options. Having later uninstalled all mods (reverting to a clean BG2 install, as advised on this very site) all new characters *still* start with low XP.

I've been enjoying a new round of mods recently, including def jam, questpack, virtue and d0tweak. A few things annoyed me...

Virtue: great idea, well implemented, but until you slow down how often the party comment on the current virtue, I wont reinstall it.

NPC's/summons set off traps: love this one, but it needs a couple of exceptions. In the tanner quest, when you chase him downstairs he ALWAYS sets off one of the traps by the second stairs. Doesn't make sense really.

Burglary of the bookkeeper: Um.

Smarter illusionary clones: they have a tendency to blunder toward the party, even when the group has just turned up and has no idea that there is anyone about. Is it possible to slow them down?

DEF jam- I installed the starting XP reduction along with the other options. Having later uninstalled all mods (reverting to a clean BG2 install, as advised on this very site) all new characters *still* start with low XP.

The rest is good shit though. Love it.
