I have similar problems with the kits. I'm unable to install them. There is always an error.

;D ah, thanks. that seems to have fixed it.

Try uninstalling AoE, then re-installing it. That is, uninstall it, quit the installer, then install again afterwards, as opposed to just choosing "re-install".  Make sure the game is not open, along with any editing tools, or other installation windows.  Oh, and make sure the dialog.tlk in your bg2 folder is not flagged as read-only.

i posted somthing similar in the unfinished buisness forum, because i think the problems may be linked.

Basicly, the new weapons have no description, the cleric kits and pit fighter kit come up blank (during char cration and on char record) and seem to have none of the abilities they should.

Is there a solution?
