Cool, thanks. :)

Well, Cyric was (until recently) the God of the Dead, and believes he is the most powerful of all deities, so even if the rest of Faerun now sees Kelemvor in possession of that portfolio then both Cyric and his deranged servants (of which Tiax is most certainly deranged) might well still regard Death as being in Cyric's control. Regarding anything that comes out of their mouths as truth is a dangerous assumption to make.

And if you choose to read it another way, it simply says 'the place where Tiax's dead servants go', which would be the case for any deity, of Death or not. ;)

As for 'fortuitious occurence', I think that yeah, I may remove it for just 'Cyric the Wise' or 'All-Powerful' or something.

Simply "Praise Cyric the Wise!" would be the best, I think. Also, "Praise Cyric the Wise for keeping his word!" "My destiny has come!" "The day of my glory has come!" "The word is ready to kneel before Tiax!" (btw, as his in-game texts use DESTINY, here it would work, too, I suspect.) Or any of your choice.

Also, while we are at it: I fully agree that Tiax resided in Cyric's realm. But I am not sure about "He sent me forth from his realm of the dead to this place?" phrase, because the words "realm of the dead" vividly remind me of Kelemvor. A simple "But... why has He sent me forth from his realm?" or "But... why has He sent me forth from his realm to his place?" would be sufficient, I think - but that's just my observation.

Oh, right. Hmm. Any suggestions? I don't mind making changes.

I wrote different sequences for Tiax depending on the PC's alignment (though I note that JC has extended stuff in my absence, so I do not know exactly how it plays out). Depending on your alignment he will have different reactions to you - ranging from hatred of your foul nature, leaving him to die while he valiantly fought Irenicus, to him being pleased that Cyric has sent you to fight alongside him. If you play through you should be satisfied that he is quite mad with a distorted memory of events, and you do need to be careful what you say or else you won't get away with it.  He's difficult to please. But what would you expect from the rightful ruler of everything?

I have read Tiax .d file and the epilogues, and I am more than happy with it - congrats. However, in this case I meant specifically these two words -
"fortuitous occurrence." Two three-syllable words in the row from Tiax' lips do not seem realistic to me. Compared to the rest of the dialogue, with which, as I said, I am satisfied, it is a minor gripe, but the words appear in the greeting dialogue, and it highlights the problem quite a bit. This is what it may look like to a player: I play the game, the screen opens, I read the words, and my reaction is: "Eh? He did not speak like this in the game!" - and I  treat the following dialogue with a great deal of prejudice.

I am by no means an expert on these matters, but having read and re-read Tiax' in-game texts in order to write his player-initiated dialogues, and having written my diploma work partially on speech patterns in automatic style recognition, I felt obliged to offer my opinion. :)

Shockingly enough, these questions are addressed in the mod's documentation!

Each character has been given a posthumous "promotion" of power and experience points, roughly equivalent to a 3.5 million XP character with stock equipment and some additional bonuses.

Q: How do I control my summoned allies?

A: They will behave as summoned creatures rather than party members, so you will not receive a party portrait for them (and do not need to kick anybody out of the party to use them.) They employ eSeries AI which you can simply allow to take its course by "ignoring" them, or click on their green circles and direct them manually if you prefer.

I have doubts about Tiax' speech pattern. "fortuious occurrence" fits to his stats, but compared to BG1 and BG2 in-game dialogue, I would expect something more mad and primitive.

You can choose to resurrect one (or none) of them, if they are willing.

The rest implicitly go back to their respective resting places.

Oh, what a joyous turn of events! I truly had considered this mod a goner. Yipee!

What I am curious about, though, is what becomes of your old friends after the final confrontation with Amelyssan. Also, while I'm at it, will you use the same portrait for Gorion used in the BGI NPC Project? Consistancey is a good thing, after all. Perhaps even the BGII-ilike portrait for Montaron used in A Mod for the Wicked at SHS. It looks rather nice.

I'd like to see Keto's reaction here.

Future version.

No Yoshimo's reaction on whether Ilmater's quest has been done or not? It works here all right, I am just wondering.

Yes, there are actually three variants on meeting Yoshimo, depending on game events. Only one of them (this one) will allow you to secure his services.

Last Yoshimo's line is very much in character, I think.

Yoshimo's in the mix as well. Of course, not everyone is pleased to see him.
