Though the initial frenzy's passed, there wasn't a time limit on Bad Kelsey, so your addition is welcome!

Heh, I specifically didn't read any of the other endings before I'd written my own.  I do feel sorry for him, though.

You did a good job not telegraphing the outcome, although I did suspect it was heading that way, if for no other reason than that nobody else had really done a "Kelsey gets it in the neck" ending (in full-hearted earnest) and I figured that if it struck you to do a story at this point, it would probably be a new twist. (or gouge, as it seemed to be in this case.)

I *did* feel horrid writing it.  But as soon as I read Bons' introduction, the last line of my version popped into my head and I had to write it.  Hate it when I get one of those kicks.  ::)

I nearly felt sorry for Kelsey reading this. I liked the "Don't mess with an ex-Bhaalspawn" theme, but I would have settled for him being badly beaten.
