False alarm, found what I was doing wrong. My error.

Here's a section of my WeiDU.log:

Code: [Select]
~SETUP-UNDERREP.TP2~ #0 #0 // Underrepresented Items From Icewind Dale 2
~SETUP-ASCENSION.TP2~ #0 #0 // Ascension v1.41 (requires ToB)
~SETUP-ASCENSION.TP2~ #0 #1 // Tougher Abazigal (optional, requires ToB)

And underrep explicitly uses a SETUP.TRA file (underrep/american/setup.TRA). I'm not sure why it's not working for you. Can you be a bit more specific?

Mods with .tra files should be listed in weidu.log.  Which mod are you having trouble with?

I've noticed tp2 files that use setup tra files do not list the compoent of the mod in the WeiDU log, is it possible make it do so? aside from cut/pasteing the log.

If so , how would I do it? Or is something hard coded in weidu?

Are there any GUI frontends for WeiDu, that would allow you to basicily dump just the tp2 and folder contaiining the mod into a single directory in the game root directory, and run WeiDu from there? Al Lah invisable bats:-  http://forums.spellholdstudios.net/index.php?showtopic=13684

Idealily it would be double pane, one showing the current WeiDu log and what compeonents are installed, the second showing what mods are in the directory, expandable listing showing the compeonents of the mods, with a sets of tick boxes for install/uninstalling the various compeonents for both panes.

And of course it's easily updated by dumping the latest version of Weidu into the directory, not asking much am I?  ;D
