Oh... huh, well, that sort of sounds good, but I think it might suck some of the fun out of things, which is, ultimately, what this is all about.  Then again, maybe I'm just saying that because I'm the winner!  Woo!

You may be a winner...

You may have your hat back...

You're still a scoundrel.  ;)

Without cheap gags, we'd have no, "You'd better not be tough, I'm just a test party!" moments to cackle at. Since the win comes down to content when there's more than one functioning entry, whether it's a role-playing quest or a humorous encounter, what sets a strong, quick impressiion stands a good chance, and teh funny is an excellent vehicle for that. So says a judge who first placed Ny'Yber.  :)

A seamlessness-within-the-game sort of category-type-thing for judging.

I don't know what your oft-repeated amendment blah blah is.

It's a shame that cheap gags get more points in this category than a sort of... RPish entry? Dunno what you'd call something that isn't a cheap gag. Heh. Not that there's anything wrong with cheap gags, if they're done right.
This is why my oft-suggested amendment to the rules blah blah blah blah.

- I had thought that Grim's 4.75 aggregate for Entertainment was the highest ever, but I went back and looked and Ghrey had also accomplished the feat in IM2.

I noticed that, yeah.  I wasn't sure if I should be pleased or offended.

Some interesting scoring results...

- I had thought that Grim's 4.75 aggregate for Entertainment was the highest ever, but I went back and looked and Ghrey had also accomplished the feat in IM2.

- Two judges used the phrase "meat and potatoes" to describe Ghrey's entry.

- Including the Tutu special, this is the fourth Iron Modder in a row where the winner has not received the highest score from 3 judges. In fact, in only three of the nine contests has the winner received 3 or more first-place votes. Twice (IM3 and IM7) the winner received only one first-place vote.

Also, congratulations, Ghrey.  We are no longer faced by the daily trauma of your nekkid pancakes.
