I've just dusted off BG2 after a long hiatus and have been thinking about taking Keto with me on my latest trip through the game. I've been sort of poking around in her forums to see what y'all have to say about her. This is totally off subject (and a reply to a very old post) but I had to say that Red and Bons really cracked me up here...heck, I'm still chuckling. It made my day. Thanks!

I also seriously doubt I could survive editing the voice actress doing romance dialogue. So many takes, so much silliness, so many blehblehblehblehs.  :D

Oh, Bons, I ... *snggrrrt, snicker* love you...

Plus, it's up for debate whether or not the voice actress could keep a straight face while doing romance dialogue; ESPECIALLY if it's another NPC. "Oh, Anomen, I... *gnrrt, snicker...* Love you..."

I like the explaination that was given by Blue, I think: Keto has enough on her plate without additionally trying to deal with a Bhaalspawn.

Seriously.

Not everything has to be a romance, for God's sake. Baldur's Gate II is an action adventure, not a romantic comedy.

I like her anyway - she's one of the very few non-romanceable npc's worth having, but... maybe... if she can't romance the pc, could she have a npc-npc romance of her own in ToB? It'd be nice to see her happy... :)

Good to hear. Not every npc mod that comes out should be a romance.

The grass is always greener...

But, sorry, no. Keto can grow very fond of the PC, but not In That Way.

wat, you mean Keto is not romanceable! ARGGH! No... don't wanna think that...

Lol, but seriously she's got such a cool character she should be romanceable, I'd definitely like to see more of her (oh yeah, like a few hundred banters aren't enough.. but anyway... I meant ahem... more in other areas).

Anyway I think it'd make a lovely romance ;) besides the idea of a semi-serious bard with that same attitude to romancing you seems rather interesting. not to mention potential self-esteem problems and possibly flirting with others to get you to be jealous, lol... and outwardly boisterous al the time, but hey.. what do I know about Keto to guess her char.. heh
