Too bad ctrl+r doesn't work as it does in BG2.  Oh well.  Time to CLUA in a scroll or two.

The one-month duration was not meant seriously. And by the way, you should not fear becoming feebleminded from other creatures than sirines - and a few high-level wizards.

I think an hour works long enough to effectively make them an idiot for the duration of the battle.  A month would just require more tapping of the rest button.  Plus, if you get re-ambushed by sirines (or whatever) during that time, you could get re-feebled.

It would also be possible to simply disable everything on a character, effectively preventing him from functioning in any way. But the cure might be difficult, as you suggest. Considering BioWare's annoying implementation of this effect, maybe it would reasonable just give it a duration. Like a month. Or an hour. :)

I suggest having the Feeblemind effect last a round or two, then, and have the intelligence lowered permanently.  Making the cure for it would be rather difficult, though.  Perhaps just give it a duration and be done with it.

Some temples have it as a cure and some also sell scrolls. If your PC becomes feebleminded, one of your NPCs will have to cast it on him. The character is not stunned but all scripts stop running and the character becomes unselectable. This is unfortunately hardcoded. I really wish it was still possible to move the character around.

Do temples carry such a spell?  What happens if one's PC gets feebleminded?  I think the stun bit should only last a little while, since now I can't even move areas.

The 6th-level priest spell Heal.

Since apparently it lasts forever.
