Well after looking at the sound files in BGI by using DLTCEP, I noticed that the sounds used in your mod ARE part of the original sound files.  But the really weird thing is they are never used in my Baldur's Gate game at all. I have tried using different races etc. in order to see if I could come up with these exact casting chants but haven't been able to do so.  Maybe it's just that they were never used or maybe my game has always been bugged, god knows how though lol.

Anyway, I found that CAS_PP1 through CAS_PP8 are the sound files I never heard in my BGI game.  Instead it seems that CAS_PM1 through CAS_PM8 are ALWAYS used (I'm guessing the mage files were used while the priest sounds were not, for whatever reason).  Dunno if these goes for anyone else, or if anyone was even interested in this to begin with  ;) I could just copy and rename certain sound files in your program to get the sounds I am used to, which should work I hope.

Guess this means I figured out what was up but I would still like to know if CAS_PP1 to CAS_PP8 are SUPPOSED to be used in BGI, because apparently they are never used in my installation.  Very weird to me, oh well atleast I can thank the editor DLTCEP for being able to figure out which sounds weren't used.

Oh by the way, thanks for making Casting Sounds, always used to miss the old chants from BGI and this has finally brought me what I've been waiting for  ;D

Having just downloaded your Tutusounds_v3 I was very happy to finally have the original casting chants back in BGII.  The main reason I wanted the originals was because I just completed BGI and the the sounds for BGII got on my nerves very fast.

At first I was happy that the mage sounds were just like the BGI sounds, however as soon as I casted a cleric spell it did not sound like BGI (Having just beat BGI I would hope I could tell the difference). Spells like Animate dead and the healing spells seemed to be using either Icewind Dale sounds or perhaps BGII sound (I can't be sure).

Also, some spells such as Draw Upon Holy Might seemed to be using the original sounds properly.  So only some of the cleric spells (And perhaps a few mage spells, didn't check them all of course) seem to be either IWD or BGII sound, but either way I know they are not the same from BGI, atleast not the BGI sounds I have  ;).

I guess I'm just asking if it was intended to be the way they are or maybe no one else noticed these are not BGI sounds, unless it's just me lol. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know about this, it does bother me since I am such a picky person, which is exactly why I wanted the old sounds back.

Another thing, before I go ahead and try this myself I thought I'd ask if it would be difficult to simply extract BGI sound files, namely casting sound that I have, and then import them into BGII.  I don't know if there are any tools that would make this possible for just anyone, but if it's possible I would like to know what tools would be needed etc. and the proper way to go about this.

Thanks
