I recommend having either dual installs or having a clean back up of all your BG2 stuff beforehand.  Doesn't help you now, but you could always try it out.

wait a minute? I can have 2 separate instalations of BG2 ?? cause I'm playing Tutu and I wann aplay BG2+Darkest day over the network so I was wondering if this was possible..?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it :)    (http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?topic=15921.0)

If I restore back to BG2, will the patches I've installed--official and Baldurdash--still be there, or do I have to install them over again?

The reason I wonder is that the debug mode set in baldur.ini was gone.

Edit: Oh, and the Ascension mod; do I have to reinstall that as well?
