it is important to install with the exact same order you have done with the savegame or some of the string references in the savegame are screwed. write down in what order you have installes them. then when you install bg and reinstall it you can use older savegame without problems.

I like to play with various mods
"Weimer's" seem to work much better with SOS or TDD than with TS
but some care is needed and it seems some of the "weimer" mods
such as Kelsey and Valen have issues. You must take care to not instal a
"weimer" improved small teeth pass on a TDD which modifies small teeth
(I love fighting three dragons but TDD add on is too good to miss !)

the best source of info is to cruse the various boards and search
by key word for example go to TeamBg and search for wiemer

On this forum (not a lot of traffic but generally good stuff) i check each post if Iam interested in the weimer mod

"guest" was correct in terms of the rienstall. If you are serious about mods
I would suggest the following] (note this is not my idea but one that I did try and which works very well....I have spent many hours doing reloads    )

load SoA Tob and the official patch, copy this file to a seperate folder somewhere else
(I call it clean BG install) then install the teambg mod then the "wiemer" mods you want (before I install the wiemer mods but after I load them into the game folder I make an other copy- I call it clean  mods before Weimer)

Then if you have an issue you can copy your saves, delete the game file and copy over the BG clean install or the clean mod install , check the mods you are insalling for compatability then start again)

This saves a lot of time

cheers

you must uninstall bg and install it again. make sure the dialog.tlk is deleted. the items refer to incorrect strings. i had this, too.

I have installed and uninstalled Tortured Souls Mod after finding it incompatible with the Weimer mods. It seems that it changes the tlk file.

Now, when I edit stuff with Shadow Keeper, I discovered that some of the items come with strange descriptions. For example, in armor, I saw

"And how would you go about..." and "No, I think of the danger ahead, sometimes...".

Under Swords, there is "Crap! You are right. Let's rent a room in a nearby inn and..."

Question is, how do I get back the original items? I have done everything from uninstalling/ installing SoA/ToB and the Weimer mods without success.

Thanks for your help!
