Anyway, the "Ritual Boots" are a special pair of boots given to you when you accept the Ritual Quest. Notably, they make you immune to "dispel magic". This is not so hot alone, but if you are a fighter/mage or fighter/cleric or something it gives your buffs more staying power in the face of cunning opponents (usually liches) that bother to try to dispel them.
