question, can you ONLY install the multiple strongholds component of mod????

i have heard some problems with non wes mods....

"Hmm on the line of other mod ideas, what files would you need to edit (if it's even possible) to remove race/class combinations (for character gen). IE, so you can have gnomish druids and what not. Only monk I believe would have extra trouble (since it's the only one with a race exclusive paperdoll and avatar). "

just create the character you want, and use shadowkeeper to edit race and type...

i am currently using bun bun, the kensai, berserker, sorc.....

jan is a assassin mage,

aerie is a cleric of lathander and mage...

minsc was an archer in another game, and jahiera is a fighter totemic druid...

you dont even have to change avatar...

I think the monk should have a monastary.  After smashing up the guarded stronghold, it can be converted to a monastary, where many a challenge is presented?  Fighting off many chalengers for leadership.

And a dojo would be better for a monk.

And the Barbarian should have a wrestling pit!  :)
Actually, sir(?)... I think the de'Arnise hold is still more appropriate for a barbarian :)

I agree that the Monk needs a different Stronghold.
IMO, in should be something like a Monastery...

A bar.

I think that there should be a bar or inn "stonghold" that any PC could get.  Something simple and fun.  Monk stonghold sounds interesting, but IMO there would be more of a market for something that everyone could use.

id love a simple little mod that allows you to get any stronghold you want, like a sorc getting the bard stronghold, for example, simply by doing that quest first...

i have always wanted to try out the other strongholds, but hate not playing a sorc,,,, :P
I think this the exact purpose of the "multiple stronghold" part of the Ease-of-Use mod. :)

EDIT: Aaargh! Beaten by a feline! :D

Here are some mod ideas that people have send me via email. Unfortunately, I don't really have time to deal with them, but I do welcome your comments or interest.

I was wandering how about making a monks stronghold?  I'm
pretty hopeless at coding and stuff but can come up with
quest and script ideas.  Would probably have to do
something similar to the druid stronghold.  Fight your way
to the leader and challenge for leadership.  Stronghold
quests could involve obtaining a martial arts manuel that
teaches some killer moves.  eg Balthazars shadowless kick.
Interested in making one?
