As a part of my personal modding project, I would like to re-enable the two dummied out doors in AR1500 (Spellhold).  A little playing around in dltcep and hexedit shows me that all they are really missing are a destination area and their polygons.  Unfortunate, ALTER_AREA_DOOR currently does not support altering the door polygons.

It would really, really help me if this feature could be added, so please?

The function you want is fj_are_structure, not ALTER_AREA_DOOR, though you'll probably have to delete the original door first. Adding vertices to an existing structure is awkward, since vertices are themselves area structures.

That is indeed how I solve it now, but it is by itself more than a little awkward as well, especially since everything except those vertices is already there.  It would be nice if it could be done easier.  But oh well.
