I am currently writing custom essays of famous female game character, when I found the similarity between Surayah of Baldur's Gate and Lina of Defense of the Ancient.  Here's a glimpse of their story line.

Surayah el Farrahd
Surayah has reason to believe that she has inherited the 'Bloodline of Fire' through her mother, how Calimshites refer to those who have decended from the efreet who ruled over the desert thousands of years past. Highly diluted over a hundred generations, the effects of efreeti blood in a Calimshite varies in manifestation depending on the person. This trait can show itself in a physical manner, such as eyes that glow red or gold, or in an innate magical gift such as skill casting cantrips of fire or air or a natural ability to levitate. In Surayah's case, the most glaring evidence of the fire in her blood was that she was born with abnormal feet, her toes naturally curling upward. Her father, or course, paid a wizard to correct them with thaumacosmetic surgery at a young age, as rich fathers in Calimport tend to do whenever their offspring sport an unsightly extra eye, mist instead of an appendage, or simply don't particularly look like their fathers.

Lina Inverse
Orphaned at a young age by a wayward dragon, Lina Inverse vowed to hunt down all dragons until they were no longer a threat on this earth. She became known for her fiery spells - a dragon slave from another plane of existence to damage her foes and an array of light to strike and stun her targets. Her mastery of the laguna blade brought down many dragons.
However, in her crusade against dragonkind, Lina killed some of the night elves' cherished chimaeras. Sentenced to military service for the Sentinels, her sentence would only be deemed complete when the Frozen Throne is destroyed. Unlike most gifted individuals, Lina Inverse never harbored any intentions of altruistic heroism. Instead of striving to use her vast potential in service of “justice”, she sold her manifold talents to the highest bidder. Over the years, Lina has harnessed her sorcerous potential, and can conjure fireballs and lightning strikes powerful enough to decimate the largest of dragons (as well as most of the surrounding countryside). Her prowess and speed are legendary, and this mercenary has accepted her most ambitious project yet: to aid in the Sentinel’s destruction of the Frozen Throne. Should she succeed, she will have power and wealth beyond her wildest expectations.
