Hello! This is my first post at the PPG forums.

Before i started this thread i made some research, and tried to PM a mod about this question, but for some strange reason i wasn't able to send PMs (i couldn't figure out why was that or what i was doing wrong).
I made a search for order and installation on the BG1 Tutu subforum and also i've reading the EasyTutu FAQ and the EasyTutu Readme and i came with an installation order, but i still i'm unsure how accurate is this for installing the Tutu mod plus some bugfixes and features.

Is this the proper (or at least a good) installation order?

 1 - Install Baldur's Gate I
 2 - Install Baldur's Gate I: ToSC
 3 - Install Baldur's Gate II: SoA
 4 - Install Baldur's Gate II: ToB
5 - Patch ToSC and ToB with official Bioware patches
 6 - Install EasyTutu_ToB.exe
7 - EasyTutuDegreenifier-v4.exe (from readme: You should only run this utility on a "clean" (i.e. not yet modded) installation of EasyTutu.)
8 - Install EasyTutuHotfixes-20070205.exe (from the search it cames in this order, not sure though)
9 - Unpack Tutufix_v18.rar to BG Tutu installation folder
10 - Install EasyTutuNPCKits-v2.exe
11 - Install Tutusounds_v4.exe
12 - More optional mods may be add later (i guess it would be alright, wouldn't it?)

It would be very welcomed any advice on this!

Thanks for reading and sorry for my english (not my native language :x)

I'm no expert, but it sure looks alright to me.  You've got the games, you've got them patched, you've the Degreenifier.  I'm not a 100% certain about the Hotfixes though, I can't remember installing it on mine (and after checking my WeiDU file, I'm now positive I didn't, didn't have any issues though).

I would really recommend adding some NPC mods at the end, especially the BG1 NPC Project which can be found @ Gibberlings 3, as well as the Indira or Finch NPC's (or both!) which can be found here.  Gavin is also a favorite of mine.

EDIT: And I wouldn't worry too much, your English is totally acceptable! Smiley

Thanks for your reply!

That's what troubles me more. I'm totally unsure how accurate is that order and if installing both component is required. If not, which one should install to avoid conflicts.
That's my biggest doubt  Huh

Thanks! I've look at some mods, but as it's my first run through Baldur's Gate I i much rather finish it without any mod (or at least any big mod) and then run it with some mods to experiment. Thanks a lot anyway!  Wink

I did basically what you did on my first install and it worked fine. I did find this thread: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=8122  particularly useful.

The fixes in the hotfix pack are fairly trivial.  You've got them at the right spot in your installation order (before the degreenifier is acceptable as well).

Also, if it affects your plans any, there will be a major new EasyTutu release sometime next month.

It does. It really does. I guess this major EasyTutu release will include all the fixes that the Hotfix and Fixpack include already, so i guess i'll wait for it.
Also, this will be my first run through BG1, so maybe playing it without mods will be a nice experience (while i wait for the next EasyTutu release).

Thanks again!  Smiley

just make sure you have bg1npc, regardless of if its your first time through the game, and one of the mods that adds container bags.
