bug with thaco and saving throws

I currently have
Bg+tosc+final patch+bg2+tob+final patch+easytutu+degreenifier+improved bams+bg1npc+npckit+mur'neth+strategygems+adventurequest+UB+bg2tweaks installed(could be some more but those are the greater ones)

when xzar level's up he get's a -20 thaco :o overpowered!!;-) (due to the npckit pack he is a sorceror)
and when khalid get's lvl 2 he get a -5 saving throws of all kind :o? wtf?(due to npckit he is  a wizard slayer)

frankly I don't like that;-)
COuld someone help me with this?

i also can't sell a medium shield that i took from neira(the assasin in nashkel)
and item shops can't identy a potion don't know what it is :P

I don't think EasyTutu or EasyTutu NPC Kits is at fault here.  If you're using a mod which allows for building a NPC from level one, that's where I'd start looking.

I sort of remember that as well.  I'll look into correcting it.

IIRC certain shops can only identify certain types of things (e.g., don't bring rings and potions to a weaponsmith).

These components were recently changed in BG2 Tweaks, though I dunno if that's the problem.  You might try uninstalling at least those components and see if it helps.  Also I hate to ask this since it might be huge, but can you post your WeiDU.log so we can try to narrow down the problem.

I think it's the mod that gives potion and gems the identify tag
haven't tested out gems yet in the shop cause my lore is high enough for that
but i think the creator made the mistake of targeting the potions in the shop
cause they ain't clickable but no matter they can be identified by others means>high lore>spells

Not sure what's causing this.  You don't seem to have the SCS component that allows you to relevel and choose proficiencies on NPCs, so I don't think that's the problem as Macready suggests.  I also installed the same Tweaks THAC0 as you, spawned Khalid and Xzar and gave them enough XP to level them and didn't notice any discrepancies.  I'm not familiar with those other mods you mentioned and they don't appear in your WeiDU.log so they might be for BG2.  So I dunno what to tell you.  If you have a saved game from before you noticed the problem maybe I could test it out locally or something.

And yeah, the Korgan thing shouldn't make a difference but you shouldn't be able to install it either - I'll drop a note on G3.

but the save after the bug is already in the mines i believe
but should be a good comparison i think

oh before i forget to mention
after i did the mines and put xan i my party and kicked montaron and xzar out of it
khalid wen't up normally saving throws +1

but then xzar wasn't in the party maybe that could collide but don't know

Oh all right, I'll PM you my address and take a look at them, but I dunno if I'll be able to tell much.

You might try to see if you get the same thing without the ToB-style NPCs component.

anyway
I did find our that you can have 100 rings equiped love stacking
i could stack infite angel skin rings on my pretty fingers:P
haven't tested this with magical rings though but maybe they are stackable too
(not sure about this)

also another thing i found out is that when xzar reaches level 3 he get's to pick a spell
and one spell is called thief pick pocketing :o
wtf:S? is that normal? is has the same symbol as luck

would be nifty though a not failurable pickpocket with this ability magic!! :D

and what is up with selling quest items?
it's very annoying
and bounty hunting scroll that can be sold
if someone could please take a look at it

Bad news as to this:
when xzar level's up he get's a -20 thaco :o overpowered!!;-)
I managed to reproduce it with the saved game you sent me and the PnP THAC0 component.  It does not happen without that component, so it's safe to assume the PnP THAC0 table is the problem.  You'll want to uninstall it and take corrective measures as discussed here if you want to continue with the messed up save (unless of course, you like the godly THAC0s ;P).

I did level Xzar to 3 with your saved game and got to pick a spell, but didn't see anything like this.  So again, could be some component I didn't install.  Possibly the "Un-Nerfed Sorcerer Spell Progression Table".  Hopefully CamDawg can read this and comment.

Which should now be called "Sellable Items".  Another component CamDawg updated recently.  Personally, I think it's not a bad thing to be able to unload your junk, but if you don't like it, you can always uninstall that too.

and quest items being sold is annoying I don't mind some thing being sold like club/staff/slings but quest items is very annoying

furthermore you cannot sell the medium shield u get from neira it's not sellable and is worth 1 gp

and 2 more bugs ;-) yay :D
when you go into a area (chapter 3) you get hunted by assassin's if you pause when one has entered the area and u initiate to attack him the companions won't summon anymore (attack manual)

also in the firewine bridge when i  enter the wine cellar with halflings and want to get back to the firewine ruins my game freezes :(
I think this was also in the normal BG1 not sure though
 :'(

I want to squash those bugs..

For your THAC0 problem, copy the file BG2_Tweaks\2da\THAC0.2DA to your override folder manually (overwrite the existing table) as I said here.  That should correct any THAC0 issues the next time you level up.

That component could be segmented - like have a choice to sell normal items/sell quest items too.  You'll get more response if you report these things in the G3 Tweaks forum, since this forum is just for general Tutu modding.

You should be able to sell that - it's just a normal medium shield (_SHLD03) with a price and it doesn't have any odd flags.  You have to find a store that will buy shields, like the Thunderhammer Smithy.  The Nashkel General Store will not buy them.

Sounds like it might be this:

Do you have the latest Bioware patches for your games (both BG1 and BG2)?  It should say in the Readme.txt in your game folders, and those should've been installed before Tutu.  If not, you will notice a lot of bugs. :(

Does it sound like this problem in Gullykin?  Which I don't think is related to Beregost since it's kinda far from there, but who knows.  You don't have a saved game from around before you run into this, do you?  I haven't heard of it happening in normal BG1 but again, who knows.  Do you get any error messages or does it just freeze and/or crash to desktop?

it's not related to that problem
my game loads properly. Just as soon as it is done loading and standing in the ruins my game freezes no error messages furthermore I can't do anything else (can't kill the process)

have to restart my computer before i can play again
so i just loaded a save before i entered that wine cellar from the ruins
i will only go into the ruins via firewine bridge:P
that's the only save option:D

Do you have a save from right before that, and can you tell me exactly what you did to cause the freeze?  I'll try to see if I can reproduce it.
