Game crashes when talking to Mirianne or Garrick

Talking to Mirianne (woman whose husband is travelling and has sent word back via halfling) caused my game to crash.
Same thing happened when I tried talking to Garrick.
I'm using regular Tutu. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
